This is mad! Anyone that supports the cruelty of fox hunting for fun is a Cnut
We eat food and whether we eat meat or not there is a logic to it, it's either what we want or not..

Fox hunting though is barbaric as it has no function
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

It's pleasurable for some apparently.

Anyone who eats meat partakes in similar level of cruelty to fox hunting, probably much worse.

Theres a reason slaughterhouse workers have one of highest turnovers and more likely to develop PTSD/PITS & suicidal ideation/completion.

Lions partake in similar levels of cruelty but they don't do it for pleasure.

Cruelty for.. pleasure. Fox hunting.

Quote from: Banks of the Bann on December 21, 2025, 09:39:54 AMFox hunting is not vermin control. That can be easily and effectively carried out at night with a lamp and a rifle.

It's animal cruelty dressed up as sport to satisfy the whims of a bunch of sick morons larping about as highly respected country ladies and gentlemen.

This shite has no place in the modern world.

Anyone partaking in it or defending it is an arsehole.

Nail on head.

Humans do not have to consume flesh, many do so for pleasure rather than need.

Plenty of top athletes eat plant based and do fine.

Wildweasel74

Lived beside a farm for 20plus years. Literally only seen a fox twice. Lambs at a bigger risk from domestic dogs or farmers leaving Ewes out in bitter weather. Lost a couole of cats to fox. As they were out hunting at rabbit warrens. Big dog around the house, foxes stay well clear.

I looked that up. Apparently true. I worked in meat factory tho was on the conveyor belt with a knife not in the slaughter house. Lads there seemed happy enough though.
Apparently higher suicide rate among dentists, especially male dentists. Hard to understand that one...

Plenty of killing involved in modern plant production.

Only humans take a sick pleasure from torturing and killing a living creature for the 'craic', as in fox hunting.

Anyone defending this is a tawt

If my dog eats my socks it's because I've left them out.

If a farmer loses chickens to a fox it's on him for not preparing better..

Chasing a fox for pleasure is wrong

Such nonsense. Mink, cats, dogs all kill and torture living creatures for the 'craic'. And they're just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

In fairness, as I get older, I get less blood-thirsty, and the practice of digging out foxes doesn't sit too well. Nevertheless, there's no 'torture' involved in hounds killing a fox since it's over pretty much instantaneously.

This is parody?

Windmill abu

If I have read this right, killing pigs, cows, chickens, etc. Is OK as long as we don't enjoy their deaths. Killing a fox is wrong if we get some form of pleasure from the hunt. All these animals die to satisfy one or other human desire.
Only an a*sehole would condemn a fox hunter while eating a burger, drumstick or sausage roll.
Never underestimate the power of complaining
