Quote from: Armagh18 on Today at 10:56:43 AMProbably because he has gone crying to the media because he's been dropped for playing shite? Not sure about the rest of you but when I played football if you weren't delivering you sat on the bench and the next man got his chanceand you just had to suck it up.

How entitled are these pricks?

And the lad that replaced him is pulling up trees?

Gakpo has been equally shíte, yet starts more often than not. And you could add quite a few to that list.

I'm not keen on entitlement based on previous performances and that was the crux of Salahs rant, I don't agree with him on that, but he was no worse than some others equally shíte, yet was the one singled out for benching and not to get a run on against Leeds was poor.

Don't follow it that closely to know whos playing well or not tbh, if Gakpo's been shite then get the next man in, same goes for anyone.

You're on a thread about Liverpool soccer team complaining about liverpool players......

Are they wrong?

Do you Salah is in the right with how he went about this?

I couldn't care less about a multi millionaire playing for an English team throwing a strop, funny though watching Irish GAA folk losing the run of themselves over it.  ;D

Must not follow more than one sport. Not allowed. Forbidden.

I follow most sport but my team is not in Engerland.

So is it all foreign teams that are out of bounds, or just English ones specifically?

We need to know so we can make sure our GAA bona fides are not compromised.

Do you throw abuse at young lads who might be wearing a Liverpool or Man Utd top to football or hurling training?

It's been a few decades, but I remember quite a few English team jerseys during underage training at my club in Donegal. Maybe Donegal jerseys weren't as widely available then, but even if they had been, just about everyone on the squad was interested in English football and followed a team.

Quote where I have abused anyone or take your hyperbole and stick it where the sun doesn''t shine.

So you only troll online?

Fair enough.

I have abused who?  You have 19000 posts here, you can easily go through my 444 - as mentioned take your hyperbole and have a word with yourself.

You're trying to act the lad by attempting to ridicule the rest of us who wish to discuss the goings on at LFC. Adding nothing to the discussion except trying to draw attention to yourself on the basis that somehow caring about an English soccer team apparently nullifies or lessens our integrity when it comes to GAA.

I didn't say you abused anyone. I asked if your apparent distaste for the mingling of GAA interest with following English soccer teams extends to your real life and young lads at GAA training wearing Liverpool and United jerseys. You're here throwing online shapes - it's an obvious question whether you do it in real life. I'm sure there are plenty of lads, whether young or adult, in your local GAA club who follow English teams just like we do. Do you (try to) ridicule or scold them?

That's the greatest horseshite back tracks I have ever read.  Now you went from me abusing folk to ridicule and scolding young lads at GAA training, you are full of it. All for trying to establish how folk once lording a lad now have issues with him because he had the audacity to complain.  If anyone you know leaves your employment and goes elsewhere is that them off the christmas list - wind your neck it, it's lads kicking a ball.

quit yo jibbajabba

f**k me hi I'd be curious as to how anyone can join a forum and think this adds to it

This one has been thrown at posters on soccer threads here for years.  By this logic it seems as if one can't be a true gael if they have an opinion on a team they follow outside of the GAA.  I find it interesting that someone would go to the bother of following these threads regularly to get wound up by people they say are getting wound up by soccer.
That's just, like your opinion man.

None of us knows what's been going on behind the scenes at training.  But given Mo's previous record when it comes to getting any benchtime, it's possible (and probable) that he hasn't reacted in the right way to being dropped against West Ham and being on the subs against Sunderland, and that's forced the manager's hand a bit. It would be one possible explanation for him not getting any time against Leeds.  Regardless of that, if Liverpool were struggling to score a goal against Leeds then there was a bigger case for bringing him on, but that wasn't the issue at all.

Anyway, it's hard to see him being in the squad for the Brighton game now - it's too much of a sideshow.  It's looking like a fairly sad way to finish his Liverpool career.

Also can I use the term 'we' and 'us'?
