Madrid not interested in Konate any more. No surprise, given how much he's been stinking the place out!
It's risky business for players to stop bothering, before the deal has been inked.

Another tough game today, Salah dropped. Gomez in at right back.
Nordie Tayto is shite

Wham be up for this after the Bonds news

We are in trouble again lol

Wirtz looking very good so far, and a few team moves almost came off, but a lot of work still to be done to get back the slickness and flow.

At the back of it all, you know that a defensive slip is just waiting there in the background, especially if Liverpool don't get the breakthrough.

Gomez doing all right, but Konate is so limited in the build up.

A game that won't live too long in the memory, but good to get a win finally.

West Ham player that was sent off was some idiot, even Allison was trying to pull him away from the ref.

I'd be checking his Ladbrokes account!

Nice to get a normal, dull, stuck-in,  hard-fought away win for a change! Just need to follow it up now with a similarly determined performance against Sunderland.

Brilliant finish by Isak. Good performances from Wirtz, Gomez, Gravenberch, even Kerkez and  McAllister.

Baby steps...

And yeah, Paqueta should be suspended internally for that madness.

Although where were his teammates? You had his international teammate Allison trying to steer him away, but not too many of his club mates around to pull him out of his downward spiral.

Absolute moronic behaviour.

How are people still buying the Paqueta excuses. He's been deliberately getting carded for years. He must think because  the last investigation, wrongly, fell through that he's beyond suspicion.

Do yourselves a favour lads and look up the yellow cards that this guy has been investigated for. He's quite clearly orchestrating these cards for someone's financial benefit.

100% right. How he got away with the previous charges I do not know. I'd seen some of the previous yellows around the time the news broke few years ago and they couldn't have been more blatant if he tried.

J70

I was not aware of Paqueta's previous incidents.

So either he's corrupt or he has the self control of a toddler.

J70

Could have been worse. That late breakaway by Sunderland just beggared belief!

Why did it take them until the last ten minutes to start moving Sunderland around a bit. It was totally static up until that point, just back and forth across the field on a horseshoe around the area.

But at least they fought back to get a point. It looked seriously beyond them for quite a while after Sunderland scored. Speaking of which, Van Dijk totally at fault giving the ball away and then standing back watching him shoot.

It was, fine defensive work by Chiesa to prevent the goal and near certain Sunderland win
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose
