Quote from: Liberation on October 27, 2025, 01:09:15 PMCongrats to Lough.

Welcome back Liberation.

You were quiet for some time.

Something must be up?

The island back to D1...

Odds on finishing rock bottom next season?

Hope you enjoyed your celebrations liberation

Was thinking you would reply before Liberation considering your first 5 posts where about "the island" not hard to work out where your from. Hope you enjoyed your celebrations also which consist of singing songs about Coalisland.

Wouldn't be a clonoe fan without Coalisland living in their head rent free.

Clonoe I fancy to win Ulster by a country mile. Would like to see them go one step further than Galbally did.

Although, of course avoiding becoming a team like Galbally and earning the yoyo tag if they don't stay up next year.

Yeah clonoe should obviously avoid becoming a team like Galbally who are the only team in the last few years to win an intermediate title and not go straight down the following year.

Galbally have earned the yoyo tag as it's now 2 years in a row they've been the last unbeaten team during the div 1 league and now 2 years in a row they've finished near the top. Being relegated from senior football 4 times in their 76 year history and never being relegated the following year after winning promotion to senior is the definition of a yo-yo club 😂 🙈.

Am I looking at the same table lol. Galbally finished 5 points outside the playoff spot in the league finishing 7th. They aren't a yoyo team by any means but also not going to win the league. They're a mid table team. Start the league off well when every other club is missing the county players and then they'll drop off to midtable

They are still a yoyo team...1st in the league until county players come back then back down to mid table. That's a fair bit of yoyoing over the last few years
Nah you're moving the goalposts lad..
A "yo-yo club" in football is a team that is frequently promoted to a higher division and then relegated back down...

Congratulations on winning the "last unbeaten team during the div 1 league and now 2 years in a row they've finished near the top" cup.

Will it go in the cabinet beside the "we're not soft because we are big ra men" shield?

Another round of applause for the LGFA and their quest on player welfare. Now after a 7/8 week break with no games at all, the LGfA in their wisdom have decided to place the 1st round of the u16 championship less than 24 hrs after our ladies were playing an Ulster semi-final (That went to extra time). They are an absolute shambles. A disgraceful decision.

They are a shambles. Played off their senior championships (three grades).. 4 rounds in 4 weeks. And as you say months of inaction during best times of the year. Put the games on same time as men's championship games.. and refuse to co-operate or listen to any reason at all.

Noticing a lack of posts from Pintsandgaaman and Co..., either the wifi is down in Fintona or hes been given the curly finger, hopefully the return of actual football chat going on in the board!

I fully agree, however seeing as mid term is over and they are all back in school I expect them to be back in school. There was rumours going about The Rose And Crown that Pintandgaaman has been banned. Pub talk all the same!

I see lough are at 15/2 for Ulster. Could be the bet if they get over the challenge of Kilcoo. The game being played in Omagh will be a huge boost for them. Worth a tenner IMO
