any of you persevere with "Monster: The Ed Gein Story" on Netflix?

It's pretty disturbing stuff, and TBH some parts initially confused the life out of me with scenes from Hitchcock filming Psycho and the cast involved in it and a bit about the movie, the Texas chainsaw massacre.

Gruesome stuff

Quote from: Jeepers Creepers on October 14, 2025, 08:41:13 PMJust finished Black Rabbit and thoroughly enjoyed it despite Jude Law being in it. Heard good reports about Task so looking fwd to it.
I  watched Black Rabbit (willingly)  all the way through but I can't say I enjoyed it, it was pretty dark and evil, maybe cut out all the flaff, have just 4 episodes with more focus on the hapless absurdity of the 2 villains than the 2 brothers.

I thought Black Rabbit was brilliant. Like most shows, it could have been shorter but it didn't have any more filler than any other series'.

The Diplomat is back on Netflix, forgot how good it is. Every episode is that engaging that they just fly by.

Another great series from the Diplomat.  It has some quality writing.

Herself could only watch about 90% of the first one and she'd seen enough.  I might continue on. mental stuff

I've watched some silly shite in my lifetime, but the Blacklist might well be the silliest and the shitest.

First time ever watching The Traitors.  I probably jumped on the celeb bandwagon here, but it's been absolutely brilliant. Looking forward to the final next week.

Different for a comedy set in Ireland, but have enjoyed 1st two episodes of Leonard and Hungry Paul on BBC2 (despite the Julia Roberts narration). Amazing to see Derry Girls actors show up so many places these days, launched a good few careers.

Speaking of Derry Girls, Louisa Harland putting in a fine performance in The Walsh Sisters, even though the series itself I'd give at most a 6/10. Has its moments tho.

I enjoyed the Blacklist. Far fetched but still a decent easy watch.

Thought he was a bit of a bollocks as a player but Podcasts and Traitors, Joe Marler really grown on me - Has them all sussed.

Nearly flipped last night thought it was the final for it to end at 10 and say the final episode is a week away! Alan Carr really made the series even though I'd never particularly been a fan of his before

Always been a bit of a tosser. Thought he was the smart fella and then played the mental health card when he got called out a few years ago.

SouthOfThe Bann

Watched a couple of episodes of Hitler and the Nazis : Evil on trial on Netflix very interesting so far and lots of nuggets that you wouldn't have learned in the school days.

Only watched first couple of episodes and wasn't great. Very highly rated though so maybe worth sticking with it?

Joe has been good alright. Both Joe's were on the ball. But then somehow they'd go in and vote for someone outside of their thinking.

The star faithful for me has been Nick.

Milltown Row2

The key to winning, is know/think who the traitors are, stay aligned with them so they don't kick ya out and then vote them out after the last murder...

Sounds easy lol
