I'd say Carmen feel as if today is a get out of jail free card. Although there was a few breaches should have been called infairness. If any of the Lough boys brought there shooting boots with them at all would have been done and dusted. Fullerton a huge miss for them today does anyone know what the injury situation with him is there, looked heavily strapped up heard word he hasn't trained since first round of the championship due to it. Mcelholm a questionable motm for first 15 he was unstoppable after that it seems as if he was forcing it and done damn all.

Friend mentioned he fell and hurt the knee at work, I'd say unlikely he'll play much of a role in replay.

Definitely Carrickmore will feel they got lucky with a draw.

What is happening with all these breaches going back to the Errigal v Omagh game that aren't being penalised? Like literally what is the problem? The officials are all mic'd up. If it's a breach it's a breach there's no dispute. It should be a simple call to make.
What on earth are the linesmen up to?

I mentioned it in a post a fortnight or so back - it appears the sideline officials just have agreed to ignore it.
I don't like harping on about referees, but they are getting paid - standard should be much better but unfortunately is dreadful. It us woeful at the minute at all levels, even underage...
In reality the only 2 referees that you can accept for your club game is Hurson & Eanetta (providing it is a home game). Honestly the rest are woeful and think they are unbeatable and beyond criticism or reproach.

Go to any champo game in any grade & it's the same cartel of clowns involved 1 way or the other. Unfortunately the officials have been the overriding story of the whole c'ship.

Martins work for the weekend was already done. Shafted Cookstown yday with a 2 up breach near the end that never was (one of three he made against them + a black card)

How he was ever considered to be on the team of officials beggars belief. Concocted a match report after a minor c'ship game earlier in the yr full of lies  to get them suspended & was caught out lying as one of them was mic'd up & recorded him. They wer cleared but no action against Conroy.

To even think he cud act with impartiality yday is insane.

That's one of the most ridiculous conspiracy theories I've heard. If that was the case surely he shouldn't be allowed to referee? More than happy to be proven wrong.

It happened. Dog on the street knows this 1. Made a complete show of himself down in Clonoe & then told lies in his report not knowing the had recorded all
Is there any reason why he a referee in both Tyrone and Armagh?

Tonys

Can't believe a team that rode their luck for the past 2 years finally got found out.

Let the inquest begin

Can't forget that last ditch tackle mcelholm made to prevent a goal chance that would've won carrickmore the game even though he was brilliant in the first 15 that was the moment of the match for me personally

As a neutral it's great to see rathmore and Trillick beating district teams (east Kerry and Errigal Ciaran) in the Kerry and Tyrone championships.

Agree with some posters above that as a neutral Eanetta probably just slightly favoured Loughmacrory a touch, but definitely not a robbery or anything close to it. I think there is a reason himself and Sean Hurson are doing the county games, they are still the best we have even with missing some calls now and again.

Some heart from Trillick, their games with Errigal take on a life of their own sometimes you don't need to be the better team to get over the line. Good to see the back to back streak continue as well, it is some statistic.

Replay on Friday I will go with Lough by a point and they have nothing to fear in final having already been beaten by Trillick on penalties in the not too distant past

Was disappointed in Hurson tonight. On the Trillick penalty he is 20 yards away but goes into his umpires to consult. Make the f**king decision yourself, you are supposed to be the best - don't pass the blame onto an umpire. Some of the umpires I have seen recently you would think have never done it before. The 2 men doing the end that Carmen attacked in the 2nd half were actually embarrassing to say the least. Shockingly poor...one signalling a score, whilst the other waved wide. Laughable to be honest but obviously not.
Imagine training 9 months to get shafted by one of those clowns...

Yeah there's absolutely no need for empires or linesmen, The ref should be expected to see everything himself. Any good referee would completely ignore it if his empire seen a foul for a penalty. No wonder Hurson has never refereed any all Ireland finals.

Great stuff mate,  hilarious 😂
Any more anecdotes for us?

I was also speaking to a player from Eglish. I said I suppose you are being tortured ahead of the final for one of the free tickets. He told me that they do not get any free tickets for the final. I was gobsmacked, county board wouldn't even give players a few free tickets for their efforts in the championship.

Strange game Trillick and Errigal.
Some moments of real quality within a low scoring game. Errigal didn't make their early 2nd half dominance count

They didn't make use of the trillick black card period at all.

When Gallagher went off Errigal were a point up, when he came back on it was level.

Onthe40

so the back to back failures continue. almost impossible to do now..
Errigal make little boys of Ardboe, everyone talking them up and fast forward a few weeks and their gone, should've been gone the last day if the reffing was at the level it needed to be

Strange game alright, Errigal will prob feel they left it behind.. I don't think both sides were at full tilt but Trillick don't care, they capitalised on their moments of supremacy and that's what counts
I can't see them leaving the final behind but lets see what lough or Carmen can do to upset the script
