Halloween  still possible.

Blowitupref

Another international break coming up which is probably the time to sack him and bring in a replacement.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Substandard

Like the man falling from the high building- so far, so good.

The manager getting to be an increasing problem. Not much use having Utds most creative player picking the ball up outside his own teams box

Wonder would Saudi take Bruno in January? Probably could have been sent off and then that pathetic penalty. Either play him further forward or sell him. That keeper is awful as well and Maguire starting over Yoro is baffling.

There has been bad luck - missed penalties, goalkeeping calamities and Saturdays absolutely bizarre VAR shambles - but my overriding feeling is that it's not so much the much talked about "system" but the team selections that are the real problem. Clearly none of us have the full story but it's hard to understand:

The constant tinkering with the back 3 personnel. Every game and during the game changes are made that seem too frequent and not logical. With one game a week nobody needs resting unless they are injured.

Mainoo has to be in the team and is in my opinion the best central midfielder. Not perfect but he adds a spark. Really inexplicable how he is being treated.

Fernandes g/a record over every season he has been at the club is amazing. When he plays central midfield the game passes him by largely. He's not able to play the position. Needs to be in a freer role where he can influence in attacking area where he's up there with the best.

Most of the wing backs are miles off but the likes of Dalot, Dorgu and Shaw (I know he has played predominantly at left centre back) play every week and are crap and get picked the next week. Dalot and Shaw are nearly always involved somehow in the goals conceded. They will cost another manager his job soon if he keeps picking them.

Goalkeeper - get the new lad in. Bayindir is a decent backup but nothing more.

I want Amorim to get a chance because he seems a tough nut and that's what's needed. But he's not going to be around much longer unless he starts winning games. And i'm also sick of seeing that poor lad who needs a haircut.  ;D

Bruno needs dropped. His attitude stinks and those penalties were pathetic. He simply doesn't have good enough wing backs, Dorgu is a good lad but he's young and raw, Shaw is finished and should have been sold about 3 years ago. How Yoro and De Ligt aren't 2 of your centre backs and then build around that I don't know. Mazaouri a good player but his injury record getting worrying and probably doesn't have the attacking ability for that role. Diallo is talented but hasn't been good either. That goalkeeper needs dropped, complete calamity, yes made a few good saves but at fault for 2 of the goals the other day. Stick Mainoo and Ugarte in midfield, Yoro and De Ligt at centre back and watch things pick up.

Nearly every goal has been down to shite individuals errors, but the manager doesn't have a whole lot of choice, but with the players they have they should be a top 6-8 team, obviously miles off City/Liverpool yet and it'll take another few transfer windows to sort that. I just hope he gets the chance to sort it.

Bayindir, Shaw, Dalot, Casemiro, Bruno, Maguire all need to leave, Mount and Martinez serious questions over given their injury records and still a goalkeeper, 2 midfielders and probably 2 wing backs are needed.

There is no way he is going to get another 2/3 windows to sort this unless he gets them going sharpish. If results don't pick up he could conceivably be gone by Halloween.

Dead man walking, I predicted pre-Halloween, turns out if they sack him before 31st Oct he's due £8m compo, therefore you can expect the announcement on 1st Nov, nice that he gets a wee send off at Anfield in a couple weeks

An absolutely atrocious reign befitting of the post-Ferguson malaise, Sir Jim and Wilcox take a bow

3 candidates I'd be looking at are

Roy: lives local and would give the players the boot up the hole they need

Sir Garth: heroically boring, would stabilise possibly creating a platform for someone else in 18 months

Joachim Löw: he only won the World Cup with Germany, he must know a thing or 2 about association fitbaw

As a long time sufferer of Spurs and their ever changing management policy, it's become pretty clear to me that when players are invested in a manager, they make much fewer individual errors.

Their concentration levels correlate directly with their interest levels.

Gareth Southgate is among the most inept managers I've ever seen.

The man was blessed with the peak years of the best centre forward England has ever produced, and systematically picked teams to minimise the number of through balls and crosses he would receive.

Between that and his ongoing ploy to get as many right backs onto the field as possible at all times, the man is actually certifiably cuckoo.

Roy no where near it, his history is not anywhere near good enough.

Not sure where the other two would be, managing a country side is a lot different to day to day managing in the EPL.

I'd say been 2 or 3 years since I first said Bruno is both United's most talented player but also the cause of most of their problems, you can never be a 'system' team with a flakey skitehead like him as the fulcrum.

Ruben Amorim is the Pep Guardiola of Graham Taylors, all 3 would be an upgrade

In terms of Garth and Joachim, both are highly respected, thats a huge tick in the box, one game a week shouldn't be beyond them

They would be more Ralf type stop gaps to stabilise and create something of a platform for the next man and for the club to firm up a strategy that holds water regardless who is in charge i.e. style of play and squad blend

Right now they need to figure out what their best team is and stave off relegation

I can't help but think the return of CR7 was the catalyst for all this
