Bad result for Gortin although depends when they fix it. Pomeroy be on the party now for 10.5 days

John Loughran come on?

GlenMan

Thought the referee was terrible.

I'm a fair neutral for both teams but he was blatantly favouring trillick. Any touch it was a free, including a bizarre free he gave in the last 10 minutes while mcgeary was in possession and being fouled?

Grace Murphy

Can't wait for the posters coming on saying sure trillick where playing in 3rd gear. Lazy analysis from these fake posters.

U know what I mean mucker.

Was that the one where he was being pulled back and Bell blew it for overcarrying? That was a strange call alright

Trillick were always going to be allowed to win this game. They will be kept apart from Errigal in semi finals.

Really disappointed to lose that game last night. It's fair to say Trillick rode their luck and probably don't deserve to be sitting in a semi final. Cathal Bell gave a lot of questionable decisions in favour of Trillick. Is it acceptable that smaller clubs don't get these decisions against the so called bigger teams? In any case our lads stood up and went toe to toe with Trillick when nobody gave them a chance!

What questionable decisions? You seem to have forgot young Garrity getting dragged down by the keeper in the first half and no black card shown.

That's fair enough but waiting/hoping for 1 big performance a year isn't good enough.

The decision to give the free against the Pomeroy man for overcarrying when he was getting dragged back was strange to me. There was a few other 50/50 calls that you would be upset if they went against your team but nothing outrageous in my opinion

We've had a difficult season due to injuries, men abroad and the county men missing 6 league games. We played the majority of our league games with a skeleton team and the results showed that. Last night was the first time this season we've been at full strength. We've a small enough squad of men capable of playing senior football therefore we struggle when we're down a few starters.

You don't slumber for 364 days and then turn up and put in a quality performance one day, all the teams are spilling their guts to compete

ManFromMoygashel

Interesting game last night! Don't think anyone expected that close a contest.

Agree with bigfullforward, the ref made no major bad calls against pomeroy but he defo favoured trillick. Although maybe pomeroy weren't as disciplined in the tackle. I did feel after pomeroy won the kickout they were "aggressively" turned over and praised for it ( by the most biased commentary to date) but when trillick won it they often got the free in their favour.

Don't think trillick play as poorly again. That was the chance to get rid of them last night. Any of the other teams left in the competition would have disposed of them if they played like that.

Wouldn't give pomeroy too much grief. Id say they could come out of the relegation playoffs alright. Have to think back to that carrickmore league contest, Absolutely shafted by referring decison that day. Could have made for a better league outcome. Who knows.

Way more of an entertaining game than i anticipated! Hope omagh can do something similar today.

PastThePost

The officiating in the Errigal v Omagh game has been shocking to say the least

White Goodman

Shane Meehan must get the carvery for free every week in canavans. Disgraceful.
