Senior winners - Us
Big boost for them with Montgummery home from the states. Fancy them myself. Michael McElhatton not allowed to play championship for Cookstown after signing a professional deal with Dergview FC - big loss.
Intermediate - Are Clonoe really that good ? They walked D2 League couple years ago and filled them in the Championship against an ordinary Moy side. Coalisland to win D2.

They've also been in division 2 twice in 3 years..  probably depends on how you choose to look at it.

Will you struggle to stay up when Mcnulty, Mcaliskey, Newcome etc. retire? Understand there has been some good youth players coming through the likes of Shea Coney and Tommy Taggart in particular seems like a great player from reports. But will they be enough when the older lads finally quit?

Stewartstown relegated, done all they could bringing Gareth devlin back into the mix aswell.
 Fintona vs Killeshil play off.
 I reckon fintona take it.

Have Clonoe won the Division 2 Reserve league as well?
Finished on same points as Eglish and won the head to head
but no mention of it on their fb page.

Aye and play Fianna Stiffs in Champ final pal.

Be a big blow in the grand scheme of things for Fintona if they went down. They have big plans next year with their latest input of young players and pushing towards the promotion picture in the next season or two. A year running about hammering everyone in 3A not be as beneifical as playing in Intermediate.

Would only be one year and they would have medals in their pockets

Ah lads, they will have 3 minors coming into the team, based on their performances in Div 2, I wouldn't be confident that they will get promoted out of 3a never mind hammer everyone...

Quote from: bringbackdregish on August 21, 2025, 11:22:12 AMGalbally vs the donaghmore gardeners in championship will be a tasty one. Galbally will take no sh1t this time round.

I hear there were some choice words during the league game for the Galbally goalkeeper who used to be a donaghmore man.

Maybe if Donaghmore focused more on the football side of things rather than planting flowers and sledging young goalkeepers they could actually get past the first round.

This transfer epitomises the softness of these two clubs. Can't imagine a player moving from clonoe to coalisland or killyclogher to Omagh for example without major outrage.

It's not really a proper derby is it

Think Ardboe stand a real chance and wouldn't be suprised if they do. Errigal should've been beat by a worse team in Clonoe last year first round also in Dungannon

Errigal played pomeroy first round.  as of late edendork has had a more championship culture than Ardboe.. I'm excited to see the result of their match tonight vs moortown however
