What do you mean Ricey sacked twice in a week

Sacked last weekend and they asked him back then another bad defeat to a poor kildress team I'd say they probably sack him for sure this time.

Speaking to Cookstown ones, the general consensus seems to be that they don't really expect to go up this season nor do they really want to , a team full of 17 year olds in their last year of minors and trying to balance both minor and senior games at same time.
The plan seemed to be take a year or two in Div 3, blood in young players and then push to go up. They don't seem too bothered about promotion ( with a bigger push being put on youth success) already won grade 1 minor last year and grade 1 u14 double this year - and they would see Intermediate as a year or two too soon for a young team.

Quote from: bringbackdregish on August 05, 2025, 01:46:21 PMWhen Killyman win the championship this year will they get promoted to Div 2 or Div 3A?

Tyrone GAA Club League Rules – Section 5: Promotion and Relegation
Rule 5.4 – Sequential Promotion Requirement

In accordance with the Tyrone GAA All-County League structure, a club winning the championship in Division 3B shall not be eligible for direct promotion to Division 2. All promotions must occur in sequential order through the divisional hierarchy. Therefore, a team must first advance to Division 3A before becoming eligible for promotion to Division 2.

Skipping a divisional grade (e.g., moving directly from Division 3B to Division 2) is considered a breach of league progression protocol and is strictly prohibited, regardless of championship outcome.

Heared a strange one on the site yesterday.

There's a group of Beragh senior footballers who hang around as Furries.

Had to ask the son what a furry is, but apparently you dress up as a dog and act like a dog.
f**k me hi young ones these days.

This site has really went to f**k. Is it any wonder most of the decent club posters have just given up. Trying to wade through the crap just isn't worth it anymore.

I would very much doubt that a club would sack a manager and then ask him back, but maybe so, seems very unlikely.
Heard a story that there's a bit of a drink culture in the Aghyaran team at present, surprised at that if true, as down through the years they would have been a dedicated group of lads.

Titanic tussle between 2 of division 2 big hitters tonight, Eglish deserved the points. Sparky yet again lost control at the end this is happening way too much in his games he is a joke. All about him!
Then 2 teams broke out into a field fight which spilled over into the crowd, not one single red card shown. Are you serious!!! Wakey wakey!!

Mikhailov

Was at that game.

Shocking bad row which lasted a couple of minutes in front of the stand and was in the stand briefly.

Both sub benches are on the other side of the pitch and they were all involved

But Sparky Loughran doesn't produce any cards despite him standing watching it all - no wonder we have discipline issues in club football

Quote from: ClubScene13 on July 25, 2025, 10:24:38 PMWhat's the rules on Clogher - Cookstown H2H?

Cookstown won first meeting by 3 points and have significantly better score difference but they play again in Clogher's last game.

Would a 4 point win do Clogher or will it be score difference where they have no chance?

I'm failing to understand how we're being looked past? Cookstown still have us to play before they can start celebrating

Cookstown have Glenelly, Strabane, Drumragh before then so wouldn't rule out a slip up just yet.

It's irrelevant, Cookstown too good and I'd fully expect them to beat Clogher in the final game.

I do think it's head to head.

One of the worst Plumbridge teams in the past 10 years.

37 point defeat to Cookstown and you were failing to see how you can be looked past.

With McAnerney away to the states i can see Glenelly being relegated to 3B in the next couple of years.

Strabane must be going the same direction if you consider their result v Cookstown tonight
