Was actually thinking about that and Slumdog Millionaire too. K-Pax should get ahead of a lot of those films as would Mystic River and a few Denzels (John Q & Man on Fire). Those last Avengers films were very good too.

Good shout, always thought this was a very under rated show.

What does this mean ffs. No way for you to shoehorn Conor Bradley into the discussion?

What are you on about Gallsman?

My Woke remark was to Black Panther isn't even the best marvel film but is included because of its link to black culture. Basically Lion King rip off, King dies, relative scares/defeats of the son, goes away gets a new gang comes back and defeats his cousin and gets throne.

I recall when it first came out and the high praise it got for how someone black finally got a leading role in super hero movie,  it was like Blade with Wesley Snipes before it never happened.
Woke and proud!!   however that crappy list  by a distance ain't woke enough.
Both Spike Lee's 'BlacKKlansman' and Samuel Jackson's 'I am not your Negro' are a shoe-in to any credible 'best of'  this century so far list.

Would need to go back and watch Donnie Darko again

Watched 40 of these films, some were shite.. I definitely believe movies have become more shite, the storytelling is lost in a lot of new films..

I assumed Gangs of New York was there already.

f**k it, I'm sticking Pearl Harbor in there too.

The Accountant too as well as The Shooter.

Gangs of NY was  one big pile of pish

As was Pearl Harbour

im actually struggling to  come up with really good films  since 2000.

Emilio Estevez directed a great film about the Camino  which was  really good.

This poll has got us all thinking again 🤭

Catch me if you can is a classic from that period missing out because the list is compiled by industry insiders and luvvies.

gallsman

Absolutely, Hollywood has always been out to suppress Spielberg, Hanks and Di Caprio.

ROFL

Boots Rileys criticism was spot on. If you ignore the inaccuracies and propaganda its amusing at least.

Milltown Row2

Finally got round to watching Tenet, what a big pile of dung!
