Quote from: AustinPowers on July 10, 2025, 01:21:08 PMTwo years ago , a man  fell off a bonfire in Larne, and died.

Last year, Jim Allister stood in parliament  praising the lads in Larne  for building the worlds tallest bonfire

That's what you're  dealing with.

And his family tried to sue the council

Bound to have been efforts to sabotage them. Wonder have any efforts been successful?

Let's see if this catches on

Banks of the Bann

I'm sure it's been mentioned before but pallets are treated, the smoke from them will contain all sorts of harmful compounds. I wouldn't be within two miles of one.

They say they are not going to act because of the threat of violence. The PSNI really are the biggest shower of useless shite in the long history of showers of shite. And the Shinners want us to support this parcel of pathetic uniformed cnuts.

If Belfast folk had any initiative they'd be sorting it themselves

Dag Dog

If a drone carrying a petrol and a lighter happened to land on the bonfire in the middle of the night, would the loyalists have any way to stopping it setting off the bonfire?

Up at it the day, as just working down the road, place a circus up there at the minute.

Bonfire material has only ever been removed with community consent, so the threat of violence is nothing new. Council's have very limited power to deal with them on private property. Doubt anyone had any real intention of having this one removed.

See there was a large tricolour placed on the moygashel one before it was lit last night.

I, for one, am shocked and appalled.

I see alot of yanks on twitter congratulating "the Irish" for rising up against immigration, all whilst a huge tricolour burns at the top!!

Ahh people are wild.

Talk about opportunism for a few £.

The French aviation unions do it every year causing all sorts of problems during the summer, if you ain't happy with what you are paid, find a job that is better.

Oh here's a job, yeah I like the wages the set up and the benefits... one year later, lets go on strike.. rinse and repeat
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.
