Maybe the money spinners in Garvaghy trying to pit our lads and Trillick in another final.

If it was money related then surely it would make more sense having clubs who bring bigger support rather than Errigal vs Trillick. Have you never been to dunmoyle during an Errigal home game? There would be a bigger crowd in Tiffy's than there would be Errigal fans in Dunmoyle.

Good win for the Rock against the Fianna.

Playing a Kildress side who will, in all likelihood, be relegated this season. What a waste of £10.5 million doing their club rooms up, they've only got worse from they done it.

Top facilities but in reality one of the worst clubs in Tyrone with no notable players past or present.

Ladies club, and there's nothing wrong with that.

See the Rahillys give Kildress some beat down tonight. But it's ok I see they are goin to there 10th girls feile in a row tomorrow.

Great building they have too.... 😃 what do they do in there?

Gortin V DryL tonight

A very impressive Gortin side really beat them off the park, scoreline certainly does not do them justice, dominated in all areas. All be it a very poor performing DryL side, but still couldn't break Gortin down, without Kennedy they are cert to not get a point?

Is this forum not giving Gortin the respect they deserve?, they have been close in all previous results, with a very dangerous full forward line surrounded by what seemed like hard enough workers can they do the impossible of staying up?

On a side note, that DryL goalkeeper seems to be able to give it but not take it.

The rest of D1 was as predicted despite Ardboe and Galbally dishing out a trimming.

I was impressed with gortin when they played Galbally and they look to have been competitive in their other games.

Gortin deserve to be playing div 1 football after winning the intermediate league and will get deserved respect if they can maintain their place in senior football at the end of the league. Only a team who many would see as out of their depth would be receiving credit for being competitive and winning 1 in 5.

They certainly made up for not playing too badly v Dungannon lastnight in Gortin, not missing so many regulars.

Leagues on the back burner due to our county team's good fortunes or plough on with more starred games? August already fairly congested as it is

In the last 3 seasons Tyrone have been knocked out by this stage which worked out well with the 5 starred games. Now it's a problem and most likely a problem going forward in future seasons going by the talent that's coming through. Don't know how it can be resolved, but at same time you don't want the leagues becoming Mickey mouse competitions like in other counties.
Anyway looking at the Division 1 table you can't imagine the teams around the bottom will want to play on without their county players. Fianna in Division 2 probably can't afford many more defeats if they want to stay in the promotion places.

Are we not 7 x starred games next season or did I imagine that?

Could well be actually when thinking about it. Can mind there being different proposals at start of year but not sure now which one was passed. Was that the proposal with different points for winning a starred game v non starred game?

PMG1

Yes is 7 started games next year

W.A.G. Lover

Was it not 6 starred games if they got to the semi final and 7 starred games if they got to the final? So no games weekend of semi final is my understanding.

ClubScene13

Coalisland's next two games down as postponed now. At least they can be fitted in at some stage if your only talking about 2 games in a full division of football.

With senior - if Tyrone made the All Ireland final your hardly meant to fit 10 games of football into August? Might have to make an exception here and plough on with it.
