Gaels1789

I feel like this could be a big week of upsets in the league.

Moneyglass vs Rasharkin- Rasharkin new manager could clip them

St John's vs st galls- McBride and hand back could swing them a victory

The 2 upsets I like 😁

Agree with St Johns they'll be like a new team.

What happened with Rasharkin manager ? Who is over them now ?

Hectic

Was it a case some clubs didn't use their allocated 10 tickets and returned them?

Or did they appear from elsewhere?

Bit of a pity it was late in the day as I know people who would have went had they been able to get tickets.

I think your bang on here TTM ,any for div 2 and 3?

Good win for the ladies yesterday. They appear to be back on track this year which is good to see.

St Galls to beat st johns would be the only one I would think differently on.

Indeed ITG, good win for the ladies. Impressive given they have no Moneyglass girls playing  :P

Apart from the 5/6 that play.

Interesting to see how the ladies can get on the rest of the year. Hopefully add Ulster and All-Ireland's. Not long since they won an Intermediate Ulster and played in an Intermediate All-Ireland semi-final. Lost Cathy Carey to retirement and are without Orlaith Prenter and Grainne McLaughlin which is some knock to any forward line. They have had some good U16 and minor teams thought with plenty of really good players coming through including Sunday's hero, Aoibheann Monaghan. I remember watching her in an u14 game a couple of years ago and she was absolutely brilliant. There's another few coming behind her that can hopefully be added to the senior panel in the next year or two.

I'm hearing the underage footballers of Moneyglass and Ahoghill have combined to make Sean Stinsons 2.0. Ergnat Clooneys they are to be called.

Spike

Has Clooney amalgamated with Ballymena for the hurling at underage as well? Some Camogie players play for St Ergnats lgfa as well?  Is this the solution for Ahoghill and Moneyglass moving forward?  Massive catchment area there.
