Quote from: Jerome on February 23, 2025, 10:36:42 AMHas anyone else heard that the game was moved from Omagh due to a fall out between Martin Sludden and Conor Sally?

What was the reason for the fallout?

Hadn't heard anything around a fall out but from Omagh's Facebook post on Saturday they didn't seem best pleased the game was being moved to Pomeroy.

Turns out the ladies game that had been kept in Omagh has now been moved as well after Healy Park failed a pitch inspection.

Will it be in the tg4 player after it?

Did Pomeroy's field used to be in the town?

It's still in the town unless you move it down the street. I always rem it being there and that's a long time!

OakLeaf

I played there in schools matches in the 80s and I seem to remember there being a big wall, which had the main street on the other side. Maybe I'm thinking of somewhere else? Long time ago.

You're thinking of somewhere else. I'm not sure where. Is housing estate behind the wall. Main Street bout 10 mins walk away

Maybe that's it. I just assumed it was the main street on the other side of the wall.

I can't think where that is..

Q: although he scored the rebound, why did Bradley take the penalty? He missed vital one in club championship last year. Would Darren C or Dazzler not be obvious choice?. Cool as ice...

NotedObserver

Some takings

Morgan not his best game
Not sure Niall Devlin a corner back
Michael Oneill run out didn't work
Conn improved but another bit to go yet
Not enuf scores from Brennan and burns as half backs
McCurry not hit form but service not great
Obvious Mcelholm new to the level
Ohare no run out last 2 games and Cullen not getting much of a look in

I would say there's more pressing matters for Tyrone such as inability to see out a game against 13 men for a spell and lack of progression to date under a seasoned manager.

Ask the simple question, are the players there. Take out the 2 Canavans, what left up front?

McCurry is a more season performer than Ruairi still alot to prove at intercounty level new rules should help him.
