Magharafelt on paper definitely had the strongest team this year. They were very unlucky against Maghera. They had a goal ruled out due to a very questionable decision on a square ball.

Can't see Abbey getting anywhere near where they did this year, unless a right few of them are available next year. Moreorless one club, a very good crop at that, and it'll be interesting to see how they develop this year. Donegal minors v Derry minors will be a humdinger.

Magherafelt were hands down a better side than Maghera, it felt like a dam was gonna break at some stage in that game and they'd win handy, but it never did and Maghera did a smash & grab. I'm sure St Pats Armagh are sitting with plenty of regrets too, but Maghera done the business, that's all that matters & congratulations to them.

What about the MacLarnon replay being on Tuesday. How will these young players recover after playing possibly the toughest match of their lives just 48 hours before. That is a disgrace from Ulster Schools GAA. Thursday would've been ideal, no point rushing it to Tuesday.
