Maghera have missed that much they should be at least level. Playing against a stiff breeze but hard gauge how much that counts at this level.

St Pats have missed a cricket score, can't see them winning g it unless they get a goal. Some very good forwards on the Abbey team.Maghera need try kick passing it in, over trained in handpassing.

bennydorano

As a Donegal side they'll hardly be afraid of playing into the wind into 2nd. Both sides look vulnerable under attack  You'd have to fancy Maghera tho.

What is that siren noise?

Wildweasel74

Somebody got a siren over in the stand.

Estimator

Harsh enough decision for the Maghera FB. Similar sort of tackle at the other end was a yellow.

Don't have access, but from the score updates, it looks like one way traffic since those early AVS goals.

OakLeaf

Absolute joke of a Black card. As you say the same happened at the other end with Maghera through on goal.

OakLeaf

Yes!!! My old school victorious. Fully deserved.

No.6 for Maghera (Haran, I think?) was immense.

Maghera should have had it well out of sight  only to be hanging on come the end but they'll hardly care now.

tirchonaill24

Overall better team won, magheras shooting was poor and that should concern them, however thought their half back line was immense and all 3 of them very busy and full of running

Yep Pauric Haran was outstanding today his wayward  shooting probably kept him from  getting MoM

The Abbey VS lads, while very disappointed, should be proud as f**k of what they've achieved this season as first time entrants. Hopefully all three clubs involved, not just Four Masters, can build on this good work.

Definitely. Great to see a Donegal team in the mix. Hopefully something to build on.

Maghera the better team, played better football than they did against Magherafelt.
Will Abbey VS be back at MacRory level next year and beyond?
