serious trek for the Carrickmacross ones anyway. It shouldn't be a double header. Brewster park would be ideal for the maclarnon. Celtic park is reasonable enough for the macrory
Only thing putting them off Brewster is the big f*** off hole in the middle of the pitch. They probably care more about the young-ones safety than how far they have to travel.

Aw now magpie ffs have a bit of cop on. More chance of an acl going in the middle of that swamp of Celtic park than brewster. Brewster is like a carpet, best pitch I've played on in my years. Perfect venue for the maclarnon final. Travelling up to Derry is a load of nonsense.

You must be some player jay only playing on fermangh pitches I take it. Be better footballing facilities in Kilkenny than that fairy land. I remember a feile at Brewster few years ago we had hammered every team by a cricket score and then he had to play in that sewer. Luckily we got past st Vincent's and won by about 12 points. But if we hadve lost would've been down to that state of that pitch. Now jay of you believe that bog is the best pitch you may need that noggin of yours kciked in agian mite fix it.
Magpie.

No harm to Maghera but would love to see Abbey VS winning the MacRory. Donegal Town might never see a generation of players come grouped together like that ever again.

Yep, this is once in a lifetime stuff for AVS and, indeed, Four Masters.

They're a rival club for myself, but I really hope they can keep all these lads involved in the coming years. Could be a real force in Donegal club football and, maybe, beyond. Might even get a couple of county seniors out of it.

Absolutely a great crop of players. Turlough carr, Thomas carr, mccahill all could be future inter county players. Then Kevin Muldoon probably the best out of the lot I hope four masters can keep him I know he's a great soccer prodigy but would love to see him in the future. Aswll as them players who are playing for AVS four masters also have senan carr, Caolán sweeny and Callum mcrea who are too old for school. Special mention to Theo coulhane prob most forgotten about player. Good luck AVS from down.

Yes lads new to the forum, who would st pats maghera main men be, id be familiar with the abbey players and have to say they are an unbelievable crop of players, and I agree with what magpie said in relation to them boys having county senior careers ahead of them.
Hopefully it's a good open game and not the same snoozefest we have become accustomed too but can't see that happening

Welcome to the forum tc! St pats are all round very strong. A few key plauers for them are their keeper jack mccloy, Cathal mckaigue,  turlough mchugh and padraig Haran and o Kane. It will make for a good game today, but I think and hope that abbey will win it.

Good start for AVS, Maghera could be forced to try and play football here instead of the system.

After 20 mins Maghera playing most of the football tbf, shooting for shit tho. AVS have gotten a lead and look a bit nervy since - IMO. 2.1 to 0.2

Wildweasel74

Maghera should scored 3 in a row here, totally panicked. The short passing up the field way too slow. Bad mistakes have gave abbey 1.01 Abbey dropping 14, even 15 men inside their own. 45 at times.
