Sounds perfect for keepers that are being forced to kick it 40m every time
Only have to kick it 20m but I get your point. Kickout outs will hang in the wind and are easy for the other team to break

In senior football? Thought one of the rules was that keepers have to kick 50/50 balls now

they just have to kick it outside the 40m arc, which is a 20 metre kick. It doesn't specifically say it has to be a 50/50 ball

It has to go beyond the 40m arc, but it's still kicked from the same place, so the ball travels 20m, not 40.

celtic park maybe considering thats where they are??

Celtic park seems fairly unfair considering its a contest between maghera (derry team) and AVS in donegal. Why would a neutral venue like Pairc Esler be more suitable for the biggest game of their lives for alot of these young vibrant players.

i wouldnt want to be driving past derry to go to down for a match personally. You might need a brush up on your local geography.

Yes however if the game was in pairc esler it would be far easier for people from down and armagh to attend which would be nice for an oldie like me rather than travelling all day to derry. People from maghera and donegal town will travel wherever if theyre true supporters.

Goals_Will_Come

Awkward enough venue for the McLarnon final before it.

serious trek for the Carrickmacross ones anyway. It shouldn't be a double header. Brewster park would be ideal for the maclarnon. Celtic park is reasonable enough for the macrory
