TBF I don't think he would have won that fight anyway. I think 2 judges had one one ahead going into the last and even if he avoided the knockdown and just lost the round it would be a majority draw anyway.

That was a very damaging KO though. Ballsy to even try to come back from that.

At the time of the knockout, it has now been revealed that Conlan was ahead on all three judges' scorecards: 104-103, 104-103, 105-102.

If he'd won, or drawn that last round...but maybe that was his ceiling.

Conlons biggest problem is, is he has no power, yes he might throw loads of punches, but he can't and hasn't hurt anyone. That will score you points in amateur boxing but in professional boxing it will limit you. He should forget about a comeback and concentrate on promoting or managing.
