Hopefully Mum and Dad get you a Carmen DVD of the late 90s for Xmas. 

How dare a team with 4 county players even entertain beating the great Carrickmore team with one championship final appearance in last 10 years.

Some really great archive footage of previous Errigal Ulster success

Really can't be understated how valuable footage like this is and even if not operating at the higher eschalons good quality archive footage of club life is gold dust, as a repository of club life, memories and people back in the day

God that 2002 Ulster Championship was some run. Those Cross games were battles. Filthy hit on Canavan by Francie in the first game.

What was the story with Errigals 2 previous AI semi finals, was it Nemo both times? Heard the ref rode them in 93/94, what about 02/03? Any footage, would love to see some

Think you just need to realise that the players aren't good enough and that's that. You keep going on about Penrose isn't playing and so on which is the biggest problem I feel. You shouldn't have to be looking for Penrose to be getting back for next year. Would say it all if he's still getting significant minutes for you lot next season. What happened to those great minor teams? I'd say most of them have packed it in due to not getting football. Over the last 2 or 3 seasons has there been much breakthrough for the younger players? Aidy Woods got some minutes this year I think but apart from that it seems to be the same team every year for the past 3 or 4 years

I'm told the hurling club are a big reason why Carrickmore have fallen away. Alot of dual players.

Bring the season forward to April and teams would have 8 weeks of training done already and a session done with them stuffed with turkey.

I stand corrected on this but I think only county teams are allowed to use the new rules up until 31.03 when they can be amended or removed at the end the national league by that rules committee.

That's why school and university competitions are still using old rules to play their competitions.

Seems strange to be honest but I believe it is true unless a county can use some sort of bye law to use them earlier than that.

Not all of the rules may work as planned and this option is there for the rules committee to make amendments up until that date 31st March
