Smith enjoyed a long career on stage and screen, winning two Oscars, a Tony, four Emmys, five Baftas and three Golden Globes.

Not a bad lifetime achievement.

Some contrast between the two above. A 89 year old who had a successful and long life and an 18 year old just starting out in a promising career.
SHOCKING REVELATIONS!!!

The one thing about him  that sticks out is when they  passed him off as Gerald Ford. Dont really  recall him in anything else.  BHC was such a good film though.  Second one too.

Amazingly he was only mid-30 when he originally played Taggart!

One of the greatest songwriters ever.

And while he wasn't blessed with a brilliant voice, he was still an excellent singer and performer.

All round good person too. And a Rhodes Scholar. And army pilot. Bit of a Renaissance Man.

Jell 0 Biafra

Stood by Sinead when she was being booed offstage for calling out the crimes of the Catholic church.

A good man.

Yeah... a good authentic man with a real lived in voice. RIP
