Are they going to play the kc/carmen semi in the stand while the hurling final is taking place ?

OpenYourEyesRef

Doctors be prescribing this game to help men get to sleep at night I doubt

WT4E

I see Munroe hugging Hurson in the before match picture.... be warned carickmore are at it.  ;D

Quote from: gaasharpshooter on September 26, 2024, 09:59:51 AMHave to go with Kc tonight, thst carrickmore team is average at best and feel the will be found out second time around. There won't be an oneill cup coming to carmen any time soon. Thankfully!!

The wait continues, thankfully !

Aaron Boone

Any Errigal men will sleep comfortably tonight. The pathway to the O'Neill Cup is nicely laid out.

Then minds can turn to the Provincial campaign.

TF15

Trillick have talked this year about winning an Ulster title as they felt they were not adequately prepared for it last year. They are on course to get another crack at it! Heavy favourites for Tyrone at the minute.

Some nightmares of high balls reported in Ballygawley this week, gone are the days of just trotting to provincials, Clonoe could put them to the sword very handy if that is the mindset.

EastTyroneTickler

Thought Hurson had a solid game, let the game flow and didn't give soft frees. As for Carrickmore, Archie Beattie is owed a serious apology for the way he was treated last year. 1.04 Vs Edendork (2023) 0.06 Vs Killyclogher, just shows they don't have the scoring forwards. The famous "15 times, 15 times Carrickmore" chant could be coming under serious pressure over the next 10 years.

Moortown 6/4
Greencastle 10/3
Derrylaughan 9/2
Gortin 6/1
Moy 6/1
Aghyaran 15/2
Owen Roes 14/1
Rock 16/1
Beragh 16/1
Kildress 25/1
Naomh Eoghan 25/1
Stewartstown 25/1
Fintona 40/1
Cookstown 40/1
Clogher 50/1
Drumragh 100/1

How has Greencastle found themselves with them odds. You'd hope of a few first round shocks this weekend 🤞
Realistically the Championship is between Moy, Moortown and Greencastle. Only teams with the ability to win 4 games and only teams who can hold their own in Division 1.
Called it. No surprise really, that experience counts for a lot at Intermediate level. Explains in part the yoyoing of these teams (Galbally, Edendork, Pomeroy included) between Intermediate and Senior we have seen over the last 15 years.

Literally have never heard that chant, let alone heard tell of it.

Do the board, and your teacher, a favour and put your phone away back into your schoolbag like a good lad.

Jesus talk about total opposites, last friday night and last night,Carmen still trying to live up to the past,KC defence played well, difference in the end was MB,left and right, what carmen would do to have him, talk about youth coming through but still persist with penrose off the bench,Hurson steady game to be fair, and the pitch was grand, even with the rain yesterday

gaasharpshooter

From what we have seen of the championship so far we would have to say Dungannon,Derrylaughan and Killeeshil be hard stopped ? Although any team has really yet to set the championship to light !

Quote from: thebigfullforward on September 27, 2024, 09:41:43 AMSome shite on this board, but anyway. Who were the standouts yesterday? Don't think Carmen had much by the sounds of it. Was it a case of KC defending well or Carrickmore just lacking up front and if it's the case of lacking up front do they have much coming through next year in that area? They were unfortunate to lose Johnny Munroe as it looked like they struggled in the midfield against Dromore and KC. Don't think they'll be far away next year if injuries clear up
Carrickmore are going to be far away from winning it until Fullerton and McGarrity break out as top level club forwards, similar to what Emmett McNabb did for Dromore in 2021.

Better chance of there neighbours either side in lough and pomeroy winning an oneill cup in the next 10 years
