Wilder has been done since that 2nd Fury fight. Topped up the bank balance with those few fights in Saudi.

Any boxing affionados out there have any thoughts on Feargal McCrory from Coalisland fighting Lamont Roach for the WBA Super Featherweight title on Friday. I read a boxing piece on an America website was very disparaging of Feargal. Didn't give him a hope. He's a great lad and very committed. I wouldn't know to be honest what chance he has.

I hadn't heard of this Roach fella before this fight was made. His only loss is to Jamel Herring (who beat Carl Frampton). Feargal has only really been fighting 6 or 8 rounders and no where near world level. It'll be tough but you never know. It would be great to see him win. As you say he is a great lad so good luck to him.

Not to be for Feargal. He showed unreal courage but his corner wisely stopped it in the 8th round. Lamont Roach jnr some fighter.

Yeah showed bravery throughout but the step up in levels was too much. Great experience all the same.

Hopefully he got a good pay night. He's 31 now with a young family. Was unfortunate his career held back a bit by Covid shutdown when a big fight in Madison Square Garden cancelled and then injuries.

Hopefully he got a good pay day alright.

Was reading an article about him and being away in America for months and months at a time, with a very young family at home.

He was saying he was doing it all for them. Great commitment by all. Hopefully he got a decent few pound for it.

Definately Covid held things up for him.

Harold Disgracey

Doheny doing reasonably well against Inoue so far. Surely his age will tell against him in the second half of the fight.

Harold Disgracey

Looks like Doheny's back gave out on him at the start of the 7th round.

Why are they playing the Saudi national anthem in Wembley stadium during a World Title fight between 2 Brits?

Cos they're all on the Saudi payroll so they have to play to their tune so to speak.

This needs to be called off! Demolition job

So that's Joshua's 4th defeat now.  Holy feck.  He'll probably be back for more.  How such an average boxer earned so much, had such a following and was promoted like he was some sort of superstar I'll never know.

That'll be the end of AJ presumably. As stiff as ever. Dubois just went for it.

Ref had an absolute mare at the end of the third. AJs gloves touched down and they started the count over the speaker but ref did nothing and Dubois was able to whale on him.
