Must have expected a title from that team when coaching staff was littered with ex county players.
Pádraig Haran was exceptional for Dungiven

What happens when Derry Camogie/Ladies football down tools? Is this likely to happen?

Hopefully it does. Many will support them fully if they do that.

The 'when' in your first question suggests it is a certainty to happen. The second question suggests you have no knowledge of the situation at all.
IF RG was appointed manager and IF there was a boycott. It would be a futile gesture which would hurt supporters of Ladies Football and Camogie as well as the players themselves, much more than the Derry County Board or RG

hardly a futile gesture if it were to happen. It would be covered on the news, it would be drive other sponsors to consider their funding, LCC might be happy to ride out the pressure, but others won't

I am sure anyone involved in appointing RG would consider that it will be covered on the news and that sponsors may not like it. Players in other codes not playing would in my opinion be of little concern in this calculation and achieve nothing to the benefit of the players or teams involved.

Caks reckons the leadership group amongst the players want him back

I'd be staggered if a few didn't walk away. How could you work under such a man? How could you take his critique seriously, especially considering he has demonstrated publicly time and again a disgusting mouth.

Club Derry will struggle to maintain the work and revenue stream which they currently produce.

The brand will be seriously damaged for sponsorship renewals

What's the protocol for Derry co board when women's aid plan a demonstration at a game?

They'll also struggle to maintain revenue if we lose 4 championship games on a regular basis. This squad needs an elite manager.

Would ye whist

Christ you had a multiple All Ireland winning manager what more do you want?

Seems like a few tyronies, who couldn't wait for the downfall of Harte now can't wait for the outrage the RG return will get

What a shite take. We've managed for years on a couple of championship matches a year. Sponsors are more important than gate

RG is a controversial at best. Not what the county needs.

He isn't an All-Ireland winning manger either, he might not ever deliver an All-Ireland for Derry.

If he gets appointed, it'll split the county, if he manages to win an All-Ireland, it'll be hollow for a lot of people.

If he gets appointed and doesn't win an AI, then the county has lost respect and moral values for what????
