The Trap

Maybe today will be the day when Tyrone GAA wake up and smell the coffee.

There's a malaise in this team. I know there's a lot of new faces but as a county we are in freefall under this management.

Talk on here earlier about Darragh being too selfish and needing to pass more. Going off that he should be allowed to shoot whenever he gets the ball. Don't understand the game plan at all and haven't for 2 years now. Giving the ball the Canavan and expecting him to beat 3/4 men every time?

Quote from: Truthsayer on June 22, 2024, 05:33:36 PMDreadful so far. Might be as well not heading to Croke Park next week, most likely to meet Dublin or Kerry. Flat
No need to be buying tickets. Talked to ones earlier in the week and they all seemed to think this would be a walkover. Clearly haven't seen Tyrone play in recent months. Roscommon a good team and should never have been written off

Don't forget throwing on a tall sub at 60mins to stand in the square.

To stand up front and never kick him the ball you mean

Some performance. Absolutely love when we slow the game down every time instead of trying to win a knockout championship game at home. Thank god that seasons over

End of the current managerial reign?

Management has to go.
And McShane - guy is totally lost at this level. And McGeary. And some more.

Players deserve a lot of the blame, but that has to be it for Dooher and Logan. Another abject campaign. It's a waste of talent and they've been given a pass for three seasons. I don't think Harte ever had such a run.

Mickey had tactics and a plan. You might have argued against the tactics. But there was no denying the team knew what they were meant to be doing. That was as clueless a performance against an average Roscommon team as you'll see.

Actually glad the season is over.going nowhere. Over to the county board now to shake things up. Get o rourke in.get the supporters involved again and get the youth in.

Increasingly looks like that AI was more to do with the last setup and not Dooher/Logan.

Give the ball to Morgan so he can kick it to Canavan does not count as a tactical plan. Setup was awful today.

Awful performance tonight. That first half was as bad a Tyrone performance that I have seen in over 40 years watching the county. A baffling starting 15, no plan to stop their key players, brainless one dimensional attacking play and worst of all absolutely no fire in the belly which is the bare minimum you'd expect from a Tyrone team in a knock out championship match. The second half was a little better but the damage was already done. Maybe it's for the best as it would have been carnage if we met the Dubs in the next round. I'm afraid to say it but it has to be the end of the road for the management team. Clearly out of their depth at this level.
That was never a square ball!!

Hilarious. You obviously don't know any of that Tyrone team. Previous management was holding them back from crossing the line... ffs! Took best 2 forwards off previous year against Donegal... Canavan - McCurry.
