I mean more in the longterm, why is a club with a population that size not in senior football?

Why are clubs just accepting games going on Sunday at 2.15 and 3.45? Friday nights suited for lots of reasons, especially family men. Now all day Sunday wasted, no matter if home or away, why couldn't games be playing at 12/1.30 or 1/2.30 etc.

Ridiculous to be back to Sunday afternoon games, even if only for 4 weeks. Games should have moved to Saturday evenings. There should be a blanket ban on games on Sunday with the exception of Championship Fixtures.

Four Sundays in the year isn't too much to ask. Fridays are good at the start but with light fading becomes a rushing match to fit them in. I'd say Sundays suit more people than Saturdays. Lot of boys work on Saturday evenings and there's a lot (particularly reserves) who play soccer on a Saturday.

Agree. Four or five sundays not a lot to ask but pity they didn't start reserve league earlier and we would have standalone senior fixtures now.

I don't mind the 4 weeks of Sundays, it's more the time meaning a day wasted for a lot of people. No reason they couldn't be starting earlier

Earliest you could probably go would be 1.30 and 3 ocloco sure you're only saving 45 minutes hardly going to salvage your Sunday. Attendance is also optional, if it doesn't suit you to WASTE a Sunday then don't

The GAA should not be accomodating soccer when scheduling games.
