I rate Agger highly but he made a few mistakes lately. Lost RVP, Giroud & now Dzeko today for goals recently. Have always defended Reina & loved him for LFC but he hasn't been great for a season
& a half. Maybe he's gonna stale at LFC & needs a new challenge..but we definitely need a new GK as Minder said. Pretty good performance today but still should have killed City off.

Its shocking how many points have been lost through silly individual errors by Reina, Agger and Skrtel this season.

At least its positive to have outplayed both Arsenal and City on their own pitches. Need to build on that now and put away WBA and Swansea in the next two league games.

It would be important I feel to get a specialist defensive coach the way Clarke was under Kenny.  If there is one there at the minute I don't think he is doing his job right.  The communication between Skertl and Reina for the goal was very poor yesterday.  I think if they were able to tighten that up then there is the core of a very strong team.

Bingo

Very fustrating again yesterday. These stupid goals are costing us alot of points this season and is preventing any chance of a proper run at 4th place. No idea what Reina was doing, Skrtel had the situation in control with man and ball going away from goal, outside the box. Could have put the foot through the TV  :o

I'm not looking for the moral victory either, two games played well, probably the best we've played all year in yesterday, and we've two points to show. Have to be able to make those in 3 pointers. We've have had this back to the days of Roy Evans of playing well and not getting the points, every manager since has been the same, most used phrase is "we deserved the 3 points". You deserve what you get and conceding daft goals and missing chances doesn't give you the right to 3 points.

Rant over.

I could cope with the four points dropped against Arsenal and Man City away, if it weren't for the need to pick up points that were dropped in much softer games earlier on in the season. You've got to make up for being spanked by Aston Villa somewhere along the line. Frustrating.

Liverpool looked far better team than City today. Reina should be fined a weeks wages for that! Dion Fanning is out of order in his article, what does he expect? Liverpool were a shambles under Kenny and going nowhere, theyre improving every week and seem to have a bita steel about them, shoulda won at emirates and etihad, I know they didnt get the results, but sometimes the performance tells us more, and in both games they were the better team. Fanning seems to have some other agenda.
Liverpool did beat both City & United last season reached two finals & were damn close to winning both. Liverpool remain inconsistent & it has to be frustrating watch for any supporter knowing they can do better than they currently are.
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

Stevie G won England player of the year and Jordan Henderson won their U21 player of the year tonight.

Really great achievement for the club.

It has nothing to do with the club.

Carragher retiring at the end of the season. Legend

Bingo

Carra has announced he is retiring at the end of this season. Serious career with Liverpool and really made the best of his career through hard work and determination. Istanbul, own goals and over 700 appearances will be what he is best remembered for.

Best of luck to him.
