The big question is though wich team is most worthy of winning it this year. Been no big convincing performances or clear wins this year bar dromore against a poor ardboe team

Carrickmore just about beat trillick. If either of them goals had gone in they wud of been out in first round and beat a coaisland team on an off day. Carrickmore.... Not that simple

Would love too know why a right few on here are sayin dromore are favourites. Yes they're current champions but struggled a bit against an eglish side that they should of beaten by more and beat an ardboe team that to be honest on the day didn really perform. Only tactic they had was the high ball into the square. With a full back line like dromores was never really going to work

Any confirmation from ardboe or dromore on outcome of the county board meeting?

Ah sure it will all be sorted one way or another. Lol but as said a replay seems to be the fairest option. Would make a more interesting game I'm sure that kyle coney would be fit if it did go ahead. And ironically sludden would be eligable this time lol

Wouldn't say about nothing still the matter of wether sludden was approved to play by a board member and how the ruling on the suspension is to be interpeted or enforced. And the correct punishment that has to be deemed on the club if any if found there was a mistake by a board member. But if dromore didn't have the go ahead should just be a basic exclusion wich I would think would of happened by now had they not clearence from a board member

But can dromore really be kicked out for a county board members mistake if they had obtained the go ahead is what I would like to know. And if they are kicked out and did have consent from a member of the board then what actions are takin against that board member cause surely he should be penalised in some way too if dromore are. However a replay would probably be the fairest outcome if both clubs should agree

Or ardboe could do the decent thing and withdraw the appeal. Look at the dubs. Didn appeal a 16man mayo team in the dying mins of a 3point game. Where ardboe well beatin 1-15 to 0-9. Are appealing a minor that was on the pitch for no more than 5mins when the game was well beyond ardboe.  and touched ball no more than 2 or 3 times. He had no real bearing on the game. Could see through it if the teams had been point for point the entire game and sludden came on and got a goal or sumfin.

At the end of the day its not dromores fault. IF and I emphasis IF they were give the go ahead by the county board then basically the county board is pointing a finger of blame at themselves. Either way think it would be very harsh on dromore if they are excluded. Bad enough they can't defend their league title without not being able to defend their championship title. Possibly the "omagh solictor" who reported the infringement to ardboe sees ardboe as an easier hurdle than that of dromore. But hey that's just my view on things
