As per Irish Examiner.

QuoteAll-Ireland semi-final draw if required will take place on RTÉ after Galway-Dublin on Sunday. If Mayo, Tyrone and Monaghan win, a draw is not required. Mayo would face the winners of Dublin and Galway and Tyrone would meet Monaghan

I'd say that Tyrone would be happy enough with meeting Monaghan, if they have just beaten Kerry.

Quote from: Armamike on June 24, 2026, 05:44:31 PMSecond year in a row Tyrone will have the benefit of learning from Armagh's mistakes against Kerry!  They need to take on and nail a few 2 pointers and force Kerry out of their comfort zone.  Armagh were faffing around the arc without taking the shot on and Kerry just sat in and waited to pounce.  Could also benefit from getting Ricey in for a training session.

Just have to go at them hard. Don't let them play football. Drag them down. Hit them. Just make it a dogfight and they won't like it. Sledge them, do whatever they can

They'll be quaking in their boots.

Dick Clerkin said basically the same on the Indo podcast. Bring the bit of dirt - upset their rhythm. Upset them mentally and physically. Sometimes you have to drag a good team down a level.  ;)  ;)

Kerry have 120 years experience of using dirt, hitting etc.

If Kerry don't win  Sam this year , I'll buy a hat and eat it.

David Clifford getting injured is the only thing that might lead to you having to consume millinery production.

Even without Clifford , they will  win it

Not at all guaranteed. He elevates them from decent to very difficult to beat. His scoring returns are disporportionate to the rest of the forwards.

The best way of stopping them might be to crowdsource Clifford a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Tahiti or someplace.

He's a class act but don't think he necessarily needs to be in the game for Kerry to thrive, just be on the pitch. If opposition focus too much on him it opens the door elsewhere. Last year's AI final first half was a good example. Donegal were worried about stopping Clifford but Kerry destroyed them on the left side.

One big downside is Kerry will have got the wakeup call from Burns red against Donegal, but a yellow can be as useful against one of big men in middle.

Tyrone get typecast as the villain and frankly should embrace it to wind up the faithful.

Maybe one of the backroom team needs to take one for the team.

Maybe a flasher / pitch invader using the cover of Gaza protests can accidentally collide with someone.

Hows the CCTV coverage in Croker dressing rooms? been a while since Ive been in them

highorlow

There's a lot of bluff and bluster about midfield, great forwards, tactical nuances, at the end of the day it's 15 men (plus subs) against 15, Croker is for hard men, Tyrone have that Kerry don't, that's the (simplistic) reason I'll edge Tyrone.

Kerry are soft as f**k when it's put up to them.?

I thought we lost that edge and went "soft" which we had in fairness, but our boys are back.
They get momentum, they go mad, here they go

Armamike

Do Tyrone have many hard men?
That's just, like your opinion man.

Yeah it's what we failed to do. One of the many disappointments was not even a booking for our lads! Didn't lay a glove on them.

Donegal have shown twice if you throw a slap or two at them and get physical they lie down. Tyrone need to follow this mantra and also learn from Armaghs mistakes and go at them. Jordan's two point potential could be crucial for Tyrone. Fitness of Canavan also a big factor, even for squad depth.
