Strange race by Healy. In a decent position and then switched to the inside and got blocked in. Never really gave herself a chance.

Sophie O'Sullivan has the rarest looking style. Almost looks like she's race walking rather than running.

Yeah O'Sullivan has a strange running style but it seems effective enough. Tactically Healy struggled again too. Hopefully that m11 track club the bbc ones never shut up about will start working with her on her tactical nous.

I'm always wary of athletes who at the finishing line look like they could run another two laps at the same pace.

Yeah it's frustrating to see someone of that ability underachieving which I think she is. I don't want to be too harsh on her and hope she'll learn but there is a real world class runner in there if only she believed it.

She looked very light weight and got bumped and barged repeatedly which must really break your stride.  Maybe she'd be better sitting at the back out of trouble and then go for it with X hundred metres to go?

A good diamond league meeting last night. Great to see Bol going for it and then 2 world records and a few world leads as well. The pole vault very interesting these days with the Greek fella appearing to have stepped up his game a lot.

No Irish involved and English has pulled out of the diamond league final to concentrate on that new world series. The 800 male was strong last night though so I don't think he'd have won but it would have been interesting to see how he'd have stood up. No womens 1500 or 400 but with 1:53 winning 800 we've no-one who'd be near.

I kind of thought if Georgia Hunter Bell in the 800 does something big then she is must be on something so I was kind of glad she didn't.

Brilliant athletics last night. Some atmosphere in Zurich compared to Birmingham. Karsten Worlhom had a face on him like a smacked arse when Dos Santos broke his world record in 400m hurdles. Superb from the Brazilian...

Dos Santos has had his number all year. That was as big a destruction as Warholm's WR run in Tokyo. Benjamin is doing a great job switching between the hurdles and the flat this year. Hopefully the three of them are in top shape still for next year's World Championships. As has been the case for years now, there's nobody else near their level.

Russell's record is huge as well given how controversial Amusan's was.

Massive run for Werro as well given she looked tired at the Europeans. Huge gap between her PB and Hodgkinson's now.

I would say Hodgkinson is moving to number 3 in 800.

There is something about Warholm's stride. Obviously he's fantastic but it just isn't as effortless as the likes of DosSantos.
