Do people still watch MOTD? In my youth it was must see tv and even if you went out on a Saturday night you would be craning your neck to watch it in the pub even with the sound down. Now with the abundance of coverage Football First, Goals on Sunday , SSN plus instant goal highlights and live match coverage on the internet I find I rarely watch MOTD (unless United have had a particularly pleasing result ).

Oh for the innocent days of Jimmy Hill, Motty and Barry Davies..

United Pulling out of the Fa Cup in 2000 didn't help it & it's getting more & more like the league cup where the big clubs playing weakened teams....

IMO Leeds are a bigger club than Chelsea Norf, & it's not the first time united have lost to lower divsion team by playing a weakened team

Re the Glazers etc. Having just sold Ben Foster for 6M, United then announced that young reserve keeper, Ben Amos, will be promoted to number 3 at Old Trafford next season.
In other words, no money will be spent acquiring a goalkeeper with at least some experience to call on.

Not too bothered with no goalie coming in. We didn't really need both Foster and Kuszczak. Amos sounds like a decent prospect anyway, England U21 international and all.
