Harsh on him. Mustn't have seen a lot of United lately as he really picked up after a horrible start and costing them the chance of getting out of the CL group

United have been poor at the start of the last few seasons too.

There are actually very few positives from Ten Hags reign in all honesty. Can anybody name one? Playing youngsters can't be counted as United consistently do that.

Jason Wilcox's influence on tactics already seen in The last few games of the season and ETH under pressure to take them onboard. Going to be a lot of fingers in the pie at OT this year so will be interesting to see if that's a good or bad thing.

What tactics? Is he not more focused on younger players?

The false 9 formation used in the last 3 games was supposed to be on request from Wilcox according to reports.

Linked with Branthwaite and going to make an approach.  They need another centre half but Branthwaite and Martinez are both left sided centre backs which will give an inbalance in the team.

Is this a new phenomenon around having a right and left footed centre back. Until the past few years I never heard of it ad a big thing.

Been around for years though I have tended to hear it talked about more in a back three.

No don't think anyone was.

Radcliffe lowballing Everton for Branthwaite and with a bit of scullduggery on the profitability rules with Villa Everton don't need to sell him.

It will be up to the player himself but on Evertons terms.

I'd have thought Everton would be one of a number of clubs who need to sell.

They sold Lewis Dobbin for £9M to Villa and purchased a player from Villa for the same amount.

Dobbin was a youth player and deemed pure profit when it comes to the sustainability rules and that gets Everton back on track.

The Villa players cost can be shared over the 5 years of his contract hence the inflated price for barely first team players.
Villa are doing the same to meet the sustainability rules. Both clubs win win in this situation.

Wasn't aware JC, knew they had to have some business done in June to get back on track. Makes a mockery of the whole system when two teams can bail each other out but they are just going by the system they are in.

I think Utd should go to whatever value Braithewait is considered to be worth, if Everton don't want that then move to the next target. Too many over inflated transfers in recent seasons at the club.
