Watched  alot of 1st and all of 2nd half of cup game . Have to say I thought MU played very well. Attractive to watch as well. Only a div 2 (or whatever they are calling it now)  team they were playing I suppose.

Derby right back had a hard time to say the least.

As far as I see it a lot of the games have followed a similar pattern this season. The team start brightly have a bit of pace and sharpness too their passing but when that break through goal doesnt come the team seem to lose focus and impetus. The passing then becomes slow square and laborious.

Martial improves his touch and he could have had a stack more goals already in a team that hasnt much go forward.

Pep is going to city. If someone had said 10 years ago that the world's greatest manager would choose blue Manchester over Red he would have been sectioned.

If someone told me 26 years ago that Liverpool would become a mid table team...........

Pellegrini 10/1 :-)

When you see the list in front of you its hard to see how they won't give the job to Mourinho.... I'm sad to say :-(

Tactics Tim would be my first choice ;)

In all seriousness Simeone would be the one that stands out on that list

I like Pochettino....

Same as.  A lot of the 'big names' are inflated by the media.

Over the Bar

Well as much as I didn't want Mourinho cos he wasn't a stayer,  you cannot look past him now if just to irk the sh*t out of Guardiola!!  👹 Put Giggs in charge of developing the youth.

Minder

Wrong thread but good article about Guardiola here, as for him managing a great team. We have been over this ground before but the Barca team that finished 2008 season were about 20 pts behind Real and Valencia I think. He totally changed how they played, they worked as hard off the ball as when they had it. And if you can get players to work like dogs that will go down as some of the best to play the game you are doing something right.

I can't imagine managing Bayern or Barca is like playing Football Manager on the PC, the way some seem to think.

I think it will turn out to be a great appointment for City.

Good article here

Go on tell me. What had seafoids post got to do with Liverpool?  It was the same the other day when there were a few posters talking about players diving. Straight in you go and start posting videos of Liverpool players diving. The conversation hadn't been about any club or the posters weren't having a go at a particular club.
I know I'm not the only one who thinks it as I've got pm's from other posters saying the same.
I don't even support Liverpool, I just think your obsession with them is hilarious.
