Well I think the one thing that will come out of this uncertainty will be a freeze on investment and for me at the stage this is a good thing.
Zero point giving a manager more money who clearly will not be there in the even medium to longer term.

Feck there was one of the greatest freezes in investment by the Glaziers in Fergies last couple of years. His genius kept the club competitive and winning things.

Only panic buying ensued after the first six months of Moyes and continued since. Decent players are afraid to go to Utd at the moment.

From the former heights, the club is in trouble. But 4th is still attainable and the run away bunch at the top have not exactly ran away? And all the so called stable clubs such as Arsenal, City, Liverpool and Chelsea don't look it. Despite all the doom and gloom, Utd are only a good signing away from being a decent side.
There is something seriously dysfunctional at MU and revolves around the finance people viz Woodward and the Glazers.
One good player could get injured as well..
The club is run by people who do not understand football.  It is a tragedy. I remember going to OT in 1993 and seeing a crowd booing Martin Edwards for his greed. If they only knew what would follow him

Moyes panic bought 2 players who we didn't need. LVG has probably bought a few players who wouldn't be his first choice but when there is a huge overhaul of the squad this was always going to be the case.

LVG has left the squad in better shape then what he inherited and with a couple of good signings we should be challenging for the league, given the millions he's raked in from selling players there's a lot of money available for the next manager to get it right.

How long did it take ferguson to get it right but of course there was no champions league then.
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...

Toilet sniffer didn't like spending money either, he got lucky as he had sold the club for £24m in 1989 only for the deal to fall through as Michael Knighton didn't have the money.

If the Glazers had given Fergie the money Moyes & LVG have had in the 3 summers from 2009 to 2011 we wouldn't be having these discussions, their penny pinching has caught up on them which led to mass buying of players which shouldn't have happened.

We probably need a director of football or someone appointed to the board who will help with footballing matters, Fergie delegated a lot in latter years which led him spending more time on other aspects of the club other then the 1st team. Moyes & LVG haven't had that luxury and neither will the next man.

Woodward has made a lot of mistakes, I just hope he learns from them but he certainly needs help from someone he can trust and I doubt he trusts Fergie. I'd like to see Gary Neville given the role.

When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Uniteds slump reminds me of Kerry after 1987. Micko didn't build for the future and nor did Fergie.

Even so, you'd think after working with a set of players for 2 years, you could muster more than 2 shots on target in 2 games.

11 consecutive first halves without a goal, the lowest number of shots on target at home in the 4 divisions and not one win in December. That is stunning for the 3rd richest club in the world as measured by earnings. 600 million but sadly unable to put a soccer team together. Who woulda thunk they would be even worse than Liverpool, who at least have always maintained an aura of dignity.

Woodward is going to destroy the club. Dignity is not about points. It goes way deeper. Woodward couldn't care less about fans who have followed the team for years.  All ye are to him is cash flow.

That must be a lie!!! There is no way Liverpool would be minus goals and won less with the amount of traffic from the on this site  :o

As been mentioned before, two extremely bald men fighting over a comb, or which team is the worst mid table team....

I'm loving Leicester at the minute hope they hang on
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Yes you would blame those who appointed Woodward in the first place and those that still have him doing this job.

Yeah, we also remember Eric's kung fu moment! And Roys for that matter on Haaland.  5/6 players chasing a referee down a pitch baying at him when decisions did not go their way. Club stud 100% behind them! That's clubs for ya! But hey we raked that one up 2/3 years ago! So lets not go any further with it!

Has anyone asked Paddy Crerand what he thinks yet....
