Yeah I listened to that a few days ago and TBH it's the best thing that has happened to Celtic in a long time. For once someone with no beef with the club calls them the board out and can't understand their logic. That clip was shared all around the fans and you can bet your ass it was shared around the staff of Celtic too. Hopefully now heads will roll and change can happen. I've said it many times on here that if you performed like that in your day to day job you'd be sacked very quickly for not doing your job or not having the capability to do it. Either way you should be sent packing...Is it just a coincidence that their signing players for fun these last few days...

I wrote previously about me thinking  OX was a distant 3rd behind Kelechi and Saracchi as a required resigning  for this season, how wrong I was seeing how he he has proved himself to be of rolls royce standard in the two games he has started. Maybe he hasn't lasted the 90 mins but at present there's enough on standby to jump in.

You'd assume he got fitness levels up over the break. He always been susceptible to long term injuries so I wouldn't be counting on him for a full season.

Celtic are financially well run. They don't spend money they don't have chasing Europe. Parkhead needs serious work and the cash reserve is for that (although some plans would be lovely).

While there are massive holes in the transfer strategy, that capitulation in Austia is 100% on the players.

Seeing as JK is moving from one country to another, all the clubs he was registered with (not clubs he was loaned to) should benefit financially to varying degrees depending on time spent with them. Sligo will get the 10% plus a fixed % fee for the 5 or 6 years developing the player

More manager IMO and I love MON. To me, he should have just shut the door in that game and went negative. They showed enough in the first leg that they could create chances so if they started hitting the net, which they did, he should have shut up shop. I think it was the third goal that Celtic were caught on the counter with two of their midfielders running beyond our midfield who were high up the park. Shouldn't be happening and took too long to try to shut it down.

Now.

McGregor and Nygren are 33 and 25 respectively.

Both are probably collecting far side of £20k a week.
If neither have the gumption to realise given the way the match was going, its strictly one sit, one go, then they need a bit of a bollocking.

If it were Donovan and another like him in centre midfield, I could get it. But not two supposedly experienced pros.

The collapse in Austria wasn't just down to the players nor the boards chronic procrastination re transfer strategy. Did MON get the whip out or scream holy murder at the board in the weeks before, far from it. MON's response during the game  was dreadful, the substitutions were muck and tactically he stuck to his favourite 433, MON was out of his depth on the night. Fortunately he can do better.
