Quote from: gerrykeegan on May 21, 2026, 08:57:54 PMLegends on Netflix is very good so far. Couple of episodes in. Set in the 90s civil servants trying to stop the flow of Heroin. A true story I believe.
Like all of these stories - trueish. I enjoyed it - entertaining stuff.
Really enjoyed Legends it has a great soundtrack as well, I watched the first episode of Amelia Clarks new show Ponies last night and it  looks promising too, a  Cold war espionage  drama set in 1970s Russia ( quite funny as well at times)

Jesus bridge do we live together lol
Finished Legends y'day another thumbs up from here
Ponies next on our list 😄

On Netflix there a doc on France at WC 2010, not on how they got there by the hand of Henry but what transpired once the competition started in SA. At the time I just thought it was the play of (almost) Instant Karma and wasn't that much interested in it, this documentary "The Bus, A French Football Mutiny" tells the story. Objectively each actor Domenech the manager, the  coaches and players are allowed their speak. Of all who do speak there is one small minded narcissist príck who doth make my skin crawl.

Evra? Have watched the first bit of it will look to finish at some stage this week.

LC

Should I Marry A Murderer on Netflix.

Would nearly be justified on putting in the WTF thread.

Hard to believe someone who is obviously very intelligent can equally be as stupid.

Not really. There's an IQ and an EQ for a reason. Some people are very easily led when it comes to the emotional aspects of life. I knew a Dr once who I would trust with my life but that probably thought Rio DeJaneiro was a fungal infection.

And lets be honest, her patients were dead so hard to say if she was a good doctor or not.
