From looking at the Div 1 table and the results from Wednesday night is it just me or does anyone think that the Championship is wide open this year.  Dromore will be there or thereabouts. They're a hard team to beat even when they don't play well.  Carrickmore seem to be flying at the minute and look like the team to beat.  Errigal can't be written off but I have my doubts, especially if they were to meet Dromore or Carrickmore.  You can't discount Ardboe with the talent they have in the squad and Clonoe are a more than capable team.  I fancy Clonoe to challenge strongly if they can keep their big players fit.

Have you seen the draw? ::)

:D My proof reader was on her lunch break when I posted EC.  You get the general idea though. Should be a money spinner for the county board.

Mr. Nakata

What was the game like ziggy? Who would be the happier team with that point?

Poor enough performance from Greencastle. 7 points down at one point. Give away a penalty and gifted them a goal.

Greencastle did well to fight back and got the equalising goal in the last kick of the game. Very lucky to get that point.

Was the last goal not punched  to the  net , not kicked , still a dramatic conclusion .

More of a turn of phrase, but yes, you're right.

Aye should be a big gate for that one. My guess is that it will be the Championship opener on Friday night in Omagh. Too close to call. Injuries or suspensions could have an impact on the result. If 2 full panels available it will be an epic battle.

Shadylimp

''Epic battle''????? Do me a favour. How long is it since either of these two won the championship? I don't think it could be described as an 'epic battle' now. Wishful thinking on your behalf but.

I doubt if any football fan in Tyrone or indeed outside Tyrone (that knows football) would not see this as a massive game. Both teams would be strongly fancied to win a very open Championship. It is the game of the round without doubt.
