Coalisland
Cookstown
Derrylaughan
Derrytresk
Dromore
Dungannon
Edendork
Errigal Ciaran
Eskra
Fintona
Galbally
Greencastle
Kildress
Kileeshil
Killyclogher
Killyman
Moortown
Moy
Newtownstewart
Omagh
Pomeroy
Rock
Stewartstown
Stewartstwon

But alls not lost for the Semi as Loughmacrory haven't won one of any type of champo in 42 years.

Are lough not the youngest club in the county, fair play too them for coming so far in such a short space of time ?

Naomh Eoghan are the youngest club in the county I believe

There will be a new club by 2030.

Hardly... it's Newtownstewart with a few lads from disbanded Dregish on board.
Who on that naomh eoghan is actually from dregish, cant think of to many. Omagh have a decent few of the dregish boys with them

I'd be interested to hear who the few decent dregish men omagh have considering in my lifetime I can't think of dregish ever having a few decent men playing for their own club?

Quote from: alwaysbackthedraw on October 14, 2025, 01:33:04 PMPredictions for the intermediate final. Definitely a hard one to call both teams are so evenly matched all over, can see extra time and an eglish win. Dungannon should be a great venue for it and atmosphere should be brilliant. Regards @mountfieldmunter stick to the football chat

Find it very difficult to look past Eglish, form all year says Clonoe. But having watched both teams throughout the championship and a couple of league fixtures of each I think Eglish's ability to play headsup football and actually kick the ball and still able to use runners etc. I think they will see off Clonoe by 4-5 pts.

Even when games look like they haven't been going Eglish's way there's no sense of panic as with the balls kicked in they only have to win it once or twice but Clonoes defenders will have to win it every-time to be on the right side of the result.

Eglish Remind me a lot of Derryloughans run last year I caught it late on. Just hope they'll show more in division 1 next year than the south tyrone club did...

Feel like it's hard for any team to have the drive to go on and do a double in such a competitive county in years gone by can think of Trillick in 23 and killdress junior in 21 have I missed any or who was the last at intermediate level ?

Galbally done it in 2019 at intermediate.

Ballygawleyftw

Prediction time

Junior Final - Drumragh
The workmanlike Eoin Mcgruminty and Niall McCarney in midfield will shelve as a platform for them to push on. Drumragh by 3.

Playoff Game - Coalisland
Moy defence wont be able to contain an all action Coalisland. Devlin , McHugh and their talisman Sheeran to step up when it matters. Is Moy goalkeeper out injured heard he broke a fingernail in the Championship semi?

Int Final - Eglish
The batty boys will finally give Clonoe their first loss. An aging Clonoe team, who will no doubt be back in Intermediate by 2027/28. Conor McKenna in from the start.

Senior Replay - Lough
Fullerton Out , Kelly wraps up McGarrity this time round. Rooster McCullagh and Mackers will put on a clinic. Seamy Sweeney has no chance with the space of Healy Park , but best wishes to him.

Can we please STOP with the Dregish hate on the board.

Gortin and Plumbridge should combine maybe get a half decent team amongst themselves.

Treskylaughan also amalgamated at youth so could we see this translate to senior in the near future? :o

One of the their forwards, McGivern is from dregish I believe , good player

More for the youth I would think so boys don't slip through the cracks like the lads playing with drumquin/omagh. Few of omagh starting team are from dregish I believe , would be some help to an intermediate team

Is it time to follow the Kerry model and have divisional clubs and create a county championship within Tyrone?

That's a pity to hear that a club that is already an amalgamation is having to amalgamate again. I think someone on here previously said they were merged with Park in Derry at some underage levels
Have population numbers fallen in those areas, or is there less interest?
The county board were recently running regular workshops with North Tyrone Clubs North Tyrone Pilot Programme

on that topic, Clann na nGael did the "double double" (Junior & intermediate) in the late 90's

It may appear not to be broken - But look at it from a point of view of producing players for the county Squad

Say a young lad plays county minor and county u21 - but cant make a senior squad and is not part of a college team.  If his club is knocked out of the championship in Tyrone in the first round early September.  He might not kick a ball until the following May/June.  So in a full year he will get one opportunity to play at championship level.  That's not player development, that's not coach development, 1 crack at the whip.  Yes it provides great excitement - and it gives the county board an opportunity to charge big money for games. But compare the lad in kerry that gets more exposure to playing championship football.  There is a reason they produce more skillful players and and obviously the Sam count backs that up.
