Do the schools have to pay for a substitute teacher to cover for them ?
Do they  get paid when away etc etc ?
Jees! Book a few days off work weeks ahead. It's no big tickle... does not every job accommodate that?!
What happens when they're off sick... what happens when there's a family death.. what happens when they go on honeymoon... the world keeps turning.

Sick - entitled to stay off work unitl fit to teach
Family death- entitled to bereavement time
Honeymoon - entitled to time off

Pursuing a hobby interest - not entitled to any time off

Maybe on your contract... obviously most employers a bit more flexible... 'special circumstances' which would be at bosses discretion.

Isn't it in England that if you take kids out of school to go on holiday there's a fine? So you'd imagine a teacher there just couldn't piss off either to go to the  likes of Portugal without consequences.
Teachers here don't know how easier they have it.

Take a day off lads

Jeez

Do you want to see progression at all? Donegal, Armagh, Derry have all done the same in the last 12 months

Why the moaning? It comes across as complete resentment and bitterness. Yet if they go on a run, you'll be crying looking tickets

Exactly that. Probably jealousy that lads got a few days off work away to Portugal. Good luck to them...

Dear God, complaints about your Centre of Excellence. The place is unbelievable. I was down for a training thing and when I compare that to Dunsilly it's night and day.

The facility is class, trying to do training sessions in constant high winds is not

Everything shouldn't be about work. There's a shortage of teachers. Being flexible to the rest of people's lives is a good thing.

Why do people book to go on holidays to Portugal or Spain for a week when they could just head up to Garvaghy for the week instead.

Any ideas on a starting 15 for Sunday? Going by form the 15 named don't usually start

When are the U20s out next?
