Quote from: omagh_gael on February 17, 2025, 10:18:50 PMSeems to be a lot of momentum building behind getting rid of the goalkeeper induced 12 v 11 overload. Personally I agree after watching yesterdays fare.

Obv Morgan is one of our biggest strengths and will be severely curtailed if this were to be implemented. Question is, would it be crazy to see him take up an out field role?

I think one of the problems at the minute is that our players are too comfortable taking the easy pass back to morgan.

They've become overly reliant on him. There were so many times on sunday when we were in attacking positions, with space ahead and just turned back to morgan.

Agree. Look at Bradley's point, absolute simplicity. Ball broken at midfield, Daly picks up break, one solo looks up and simple ball to corner on the outside of Bradley. Mark takes one look and pops it over the bar.

We've small nippy forwards, may as well use their advantage and try to move the ball up front longer and quicker.

Quote from: GaaGPT on February 17, 2025, 12:52:55 PMWe really rely too much on Morgan coming up the pitch. Think we need Donnelly or McShane as our 14. We cannot play Darragh, ruari, mcelhom, sparky all at once
Of course you can play them all at once, just need to be moving the ball very quickly which is our current problem. We need an injection of pacey direct players and players who play with their head up in our middle 8. That is our biggest problem at the minute.

Forget Errigal then and keep the front 3 tiny.

Strong winds at the moment for Omagh on Sunday. Could ruin the game unfortunately

In hiding

Tyrone vs Kerry moved to Pomeroy.

Shouldn't be very windy there

The Ladies match is still on in Healy Park @ 11.30am. It's a strange one.

I can honestly see the men's game not going ahead. Pomeroy during a weather alert for rain and wind will be atrocious conditions.

I think they are currently getting work done

How would Dungannon be an better option. Plunkett park is fully terraced with a covered stand, state of the art changing rooms and the surfaces in great condition since Dimac took over maintenance over a year ago. There's severe wind and rain forecast for the whole of the country not just Pomeroy.

Strange surely
What's the exact reason behind moving the Senior game?
Wind? Don't see how Pomeroy improves things
Pitch potentially wet?

Tyrone at their work against Kerry who would have thought it.
