With City men in charge.

Why? The South West have carried the county for years. They need a break.

Certainly carried the county all the way to Division 4.

Still no SW men capable of passing the high bar

What are you on Duine? Ease up on the cheap shots!

PG1 are not holding any player back from linking up with the county. And for what it's worth I don't believe Cargin are either.

BigGreenField

For the lads selected/available a challenging game today, Fermanagh not firing but will be keen after last years Tailteann Cup, if they don't beat Antrim they are in trouble

Likewise an Antrim away win could be a marker to push on in the division.

Safe travels to all going.

Clueless and ignorant is what you are.
Antrim is a basket case of a county, in no other county in Ireland would the best team not have one single representative in their squad. 8 of the last 10 championships won. McEntee or whoever is in his ear need their heads examined.

How many are available for selection?

Available for selection. Now what does that even mean? If a manager showed any interest in a player they would be there.
I could name a list of 10 top quality players who have been instrumental in Cargins recent success, all under the age of 25, but I won't waste my time, do your own research.

Not one Cargin man in it either, do you think questions should be asked on this 🤣

Conhuir Johnston hasn't really fulfilled the promise he had when at st Mary's....possibly injured during that period?
Ben Mclernon hasn't kicked on either.
Big Pat is big but that's about it... who else is good enough to play inter county football from Cargin?

That is a bs response.

I asked an objective question and I am not getting at anyone here. I would love to see more cargin men there as I support the county.

McEntee is from Meath. I just don't see how he would have a "pick" on any club.

Managers shouldn't have to 'seek' players out, players should make themselves available, it's a privilege in any other county but Antrim to represent it.

For once we agree. It should be every young players dream to wear the saffron

Is the Cargin poster suggesting the Antrim management aren't picking their players as if he has something against the club? It is quite amazing that there are no Cargin representatives on the county team given their dominance this last 10 years and probably their continued dominance for the next 10 also.

You would have to question the players of said club moreso than county management as I'm sure they would be more than happy to have a few of those players involved.  What gives?

If Cargin are not playing for Antrim, it's their own fault. Childish attitude.

They need to look across the Bann to see Rogers and Mc Guigan playing flat out for club and county.
