Captain Obvious

A lucky break for Liverpool. The foul for the penalty happened outside the box. Manchester United very fragile could fall to pieces after that goal.

The Stallion

Utd's team is rubbish. Liverpool could get 4 or 5 here if they went for it.

Foul started outside and continued into box. Under the rules, that's a penalty.

Coutinho should be shot for that miss!! >:(

It was a stone wall peno ffs.
This tie should be over. De Gea keeping them in it.
Which is worrying as Liverpool are always likely to give away a stupid goal.

Yep.

Corner or free kick in to Fellaini and its 1-1.

Cunny Funt

All Liverpool in that half should be 3 goals in front. Only DeGea playing well for United, they have gifted chances to Liverpool and gave away a needless penalty.

The Stallion

Disappointing that Liverpool only scored twice against that shambles of a Utd side.

J70

As handy a win as I've ever seen from Liverpool over United. Tie should be over. Let's hope they don't regret the misses next week.

trueblue1234

That's the problem. They were so dominant over United tonight. But they've been that inconsistent this year you wouldn't bet against the opposite next week.
But anyway we can enjoy tonight anyway.  ;D

Very good performance,  Sakho and Lallana were excellent

Clov

Good performance from Liverpool.

Lallana played very well - in a good run of form. Firmino and Clyne stood out as well. Coutinho was surprisingly poor.

Tie not over but great position to be in for the second leg.

Thanks to the real soccery ball lads I betted on the "pool" minus 1 at 7/2.

I hope the "pool" go the whole way now as klopp is a likeable fella and spells "loop" in predictive text.
They get momentum, they go mad, here they go

Far from it. Needed 3 to bury them imo. Pool could easily ship 2 at OT.

highorlow

They are a port city so shipping 2 is likely. With a good wind in their sails they could get 1 which will see them well docked!

Good performance but I can't remember a worse United team in recent years. Saw on another site "if real Madrid's fax machine had worked last year it could have been 6."😀😂
