Right I am putting this UTD v Liverpool quiz on both threads.

I am a gunner and got 9/10. So United and Liverpool fans should be beating that.

Post your score honestly and anyone that doesn't match 9/10 should voluntarily not post on either thread for a month.

I genuinely got the 10/10 but admit I guessed the one about the suits.  The rest were a piece of piss

Liverpool should win comfortably. Utd's team is even worse than Liverpool's.

Man U would have to be favourites. Champions League team this year with massive investment on players. Being able to spunk €40m on a previously unheard of Martial shows the clout they have. Should be able for a Liverpool team who have to rely on free transfers with the likes of Kolo, Milner and Ings. If Utd don't win then serious questions need asking of their manager.

This craic annoys me. If you only watch the Premier league fair enough but he played regularly for Monaco and played against Arsenal in the Champions league. It's not like he was plucked from a youth team.

You seem to suggest that Utd spending more money means they shoukd be favourites which is ludicrous. Liverpool have a much better team and should win comfortably.

And while the white suits were obviously a mistake, it really bugs me that people actually think they made a blind bit of difference to the outcome of the match! Dire game, both teams rubbish going forward, neither keeper had a save to make, settled by a late David James mistake

No one mentioned a word about the white suits until five years later when Ferguson published his first autobiography and commented on it. After that, it became canon and the symbol of all that was "wrong" with mid-90s Liverpool.

The fact is, as you say, it was a dire stalemate decided by James not collecting a corner which then deflected to  Cantona who hammered it home nicely. Liverpool were a good side and had a serious title push the following year, which was also derailed by a series of James mistakes late in the season.

James was erratic as f**k back then. Eventually shipped out because of it. Besides, wasn't Seaman England's no. 1 at that time?
