Jordan Henderson has been named the new club vice captain.
Some turn around for a player who was being shipped out to Fulham not long ago.

Well deserved. He's limited, but he's honest and works like a dog. He's also probably got more quality than most people think. I'd like to see him in Gerrard's position, and I think it won't be that long either.

I'd like to see him in the new position, but as a bit more of a dynamic presence going forward in games like last Saturday. I think he could do the holding role as well.

I would actually like to see Can in that role, think he's made for it. I would leave Hendo were he is at...further forward, pressing, making runs beyond the front mean, creating chances and assisting goals. Although he could no doubt play the holding role I think it's a waste of his other talents most notably his ability to run all day
