He only came on as a sub for the dublin minors against Meath so I don't think its fair to put him into the international rules series. Its not a game for young lads anyways

No Alan Brogan, dodgy full back line, Vaughan running around like a headless chicken etc. If it wasn't for the number of injuries we have I'd put the house on a Meath win.

Edit: I don't actually subscribe to the above view and it has failed miserably in drawing any Dubs out of the woodwork so I am now abandoning ship. We are decimated with injuries, Dublin by 5.

Vaughan did not want a piece of McKeever, would this be a worry to the Dubliun fans? When he came up against a physical opponent he shyed away. He was gettinga lot of stick from the Dub fans round where I was, mainly for being yellow.

Vaughan is under strict instruction from Caffrey not to retaliate after getting two yellows the last time he played.

Vaughan never stands up and fights, he just throws sly digs and elbows when his opponent is defenceless. See Freeman in Monaghan game for a perfect example

In fairness lads when Eddie Van Boxtel was caught with drugs a month or two ago he was described as former league of Ireland soccer player Eddie Van Boxtel.

Their sporting feats are just a handy angle to use unfortunately.

Eddie Van Boxtel would be known for playing soccer so its a fair description. Nobody would know this fool played GAA unless stated
