General discussion / Irish First

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere else, seen it in the paper that the new Mid Ulster super council is going to have their signage in Irish then English below. Funny how things turn full circle. Unionists tramped the nationalist people into the ground for years and now we have the majority we are going to do the same to them. Classy stuff.  :'( :'(

As it stands the GAA insurance is not fit for purpose, it very rarely covers the cost of treatment for injured players leaving the clubs with an access of upto £2000 excess per injury.

An idea i would put forward is that the GAA do not fund the GPA millions of Euro to build a whatever you call it, but instead invest it to top up the insurance fund to ensure that ordinary working lads who are injured on playing football/hurling are properly looked after.

So that's 12 penalties for the pool this season.

Since Rogers kicked up a stink they've been getting a lot of favourable treatment
Both of them were clear penalties yesterday I don't understand how anyone thinks otherwise.
The goalkeeper grabbed the Liverpool players leg and pulled him down . It's a peno all day long imo.

Anyone going to see Gareth Brooks should be charged 5000 euro per night.

The GAA should be the ones paying for this trip, but in my opinion that should only cover the flights and travel expenses.  Can't see how feeding 30 fellas over two days should be factored in to the amount.  £10000 is only enough if thats equal to or greater than what it costs.

Are you serious?

Ballinderry go this weekend and i would be surprised if 10000 euros covered half of their expenses. Ballinderry football club have had a big push on the last few years to raise money for the new pitch and are now having to go back to the same people (supporters/sponsers) to ask for more money.
Its bad enough that clubs are sent to England to play a bullshit match but that they have to pay for the pleasure of doing it is a joke.

The worst thing about Breaking Bad is what the f*ck do we watch now?

The Shield.

Best series I have ever watched by a mile including BB and the Wire.

Remember, a lot of leafy unionist suburbs are within stones throw of the the loyalist hoi polloi so silence is golden. If Bryson & Frazier do become a genuine threat to the peace process then you will see the shadows come out to play and reign them in. Remember Paul Berry.

Was Paul just not partial to a rub of the relic ?

That Paul Berry was as bitter as they come. I still have a laugh from time to time when I think about how the DUP got rid of him when he was caught with a male hooker.

Anyone know what he is at now?

The same thing probably.
;D ;D Probably.
Never seen anyone go off the scene like it.
