kerry games very well attended this league, the 7 games they played average at least 8k, doubt any other team pulled in that many (if we exclude dubs v ty)

all 3 wins were sweet, however the schools win on sat was most enjoyable,i was at the game and c.n.s were simply surperb.
in prev years ive seen them lose to both tuam and navan here in limerick in classic games of football and really hope that those defeats
can be replaced by a 1st all ire title for the caherciveen school. they are a class football team and made dungannon look very average ,a 3rd all
title could be heading to south kerry and its still only march  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

having seen the kerry team i take back my prediction of a 10 point win !!!!!  the forwards wont get a big score , a win by a point would now be acceptable.  a bit surprised at the culling of the team but it is the perfect game to try out a few lads, and even if it goes belly up its no big deal.
good luck to all the fringe players and hopefully we can just about sneak a win, prediction  1-11 to 1-9 .   ;) ;) ;)

i intend to be there, think it will be far better than last week and expect a few more to chip in and not leave it all to the wizard that is gooch.
id be surprise and worried if we dont win this by 10 points and am confident we will. ;D ;D ;D

cross were a very effective and successfull side, there "style" got them success even if it was hard to enjoy watching it,however time waits for no man and to be honest they have been going downhill for a while. all the signs were  there  but it seems many ignored it(thankfully the bookies in particular), youth , hunger ,and a very clever manager won the day today, congrats to crokes .

good luck to all in croke park tmorr, port will win the hurling and i fancy crokes in the football.

highorlow   --   its a nice handy hour from dingle town to stack park, when you arrive in tralee you can get to the ground and avoid town centre by following signs for limerick/castleisland, its all very easy and parking next to ground is available in the horan centre if you get there early enough, enjoy.

a few of the lads here seem to understand the kerry mindset better than others, as has been touched on kerry dont really take much notice of who they beat or who they lose to(unless its cork) frankly mayo, tyrone, armagh or whoever is immaterial there just other counties.
ive spend a lifetime going to and discussing games and 95% of those discussions are about kerry,we rarely if ever really talk about the opponents, its of no real interest to most kerry fans, out team is our passion .
that may or may not be a good thing but its reality, and most of us would struggle to name more than 6 players in any other county team,we just dont care, sorry.
the idea that we lie in bed at night thinking about tyrone is beyond laughable as most would not even point it out on a map !!
as i say it may be a bad way we have of looking at things but its our way and will hardly change at this stage. ;)

icc-  some truth in what you say for sure, however speaking from a kerry point of view i must correct you on 3 points-
1) dubs, tyrone , and down would be 3 teams we would be happy to beat but are not the top 3, without any doubt cork are the team above all others we enjoy beating, they are our no 1 rivals by far.
2) tyrone have beat us in 2 finals and fair play to them but it has been blown up a bit,we have no real history with them and to be honest loseing to cork would be  far more painfull . >:(
3)having been going to dublin for wends following kerry for over 30 years i can confirm that many a kerryman has been only too happy to settle for a nice lass in coppers  ;D

any team can get beat, however kerry have been the most consistent team in the champ over the last 10/12 years and hard to see them not going very close to winning both league and champ this year, best panel of players and great management,in my view they will win the lot this year.

poor today, lacked any vision in m/f,also team seemed very flat. a trip to moscow hardly seems ideal but that tie is there to be won and i think we can still qualify ,i hope we go for it . arsenal drawing was good for us and they clearly are not the arsenal of recent years,we can still get 4th but must beat stoke in next game.
however we will need to improve in the summer as our current team will do well to get past the 2 qualifying rds needed to finally play in the league stages.we are at least 4 quality  players short of been able to impress on the big stage yet.

id give crokes a chance in the final, missing a few crucial players tday but still got there, cross had it easy
and that was to be expected v a poor drom side. drom got a handy passage to this stage only beating a very wastefull nemo on a desperate winters day, fair play to them but in fairness either side in last weeks inter final in croke park would be far superior, and i see a lot of drom playing. i have a hunch that crokes have there name on it this year and i tip them to edge a fine final.

its a great dicision and no problem filling the ground, limerick is a fine town and always good for a night out,and its also walking distance for me. ;D
