Bobby Mac let himself down a bagful this week, unfortunate to see.

(Anything to distract from this Rory meltdown)

GTP

From what I have seen Rory lucky to be level. Double bogey makes that sentence age quickly.

It's unbelievable he got away with murder with his drive at 11 and then hits that stupid draw, amazing chip to salvage the bogey and then miss the putt. Is there a more frustrating player to watch FFS. Still think he needs a caddy to sort him out when it all goes tits up.

gallsman

That's gonna be another one dropped surely. Full blown crisis now.

GTP

He will get better now he isn't in the lead.

Off the tee it's just unbelievably bad he actually holed a few tricky par putts otherwise he would be +4 or 5 for the day :o

GTP

Why doesn't he hit a nice safe shot to calm things down it is standard stuff in sport. Might be OK in those trees though the patrons should be worried

Tony Baloney

They've just said he hasn't hit a fairway on a par 5 all week.

weareros

Rory needs a good Ulster/Irish fry for breakfast. Lowry's hole on one was class. He's in contention.

Exactly it's just daft. I keep thinking he'll grab some birdies to settle down but holes are now running out if he can scrape a 72 it might wake him up for tomorrow

gallsman

Couldn't have been more Rory-like in his timing. He waited until he'd finally picked up another shot and Young had dropped one before imploding.

Long way to go yet though. Just needs to focus on getting out of this round without any further damage.

Lowry looking nice but Scheffler sitting within four of the lead looks ominous.

Super Sunday ahead. Yes, Rory just needs to try to pick up at least one and go again tomorrow.

His tempo and mechanics are all off today. There's no safe shot for him at the moment. He's yanking 56 degree wedges 15 yards off line, overbaking 7 irons. This dude wants to get indoors.

Let's see if he goes for it on 15 here after that great drive.

Well still ties for lead going into the last day...flipping Scheffler sitting 4 back would be my biggest worry!
