Big day for news!
Wonder how long they can drag the appeal out for.

Pep wasn't saft.

Jamie to the rescue, he'll sort that out
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Quare coincidence he left when he did!

Pep knew rightly lol!

Won't hold my breath until we see what the punishment is, should really be thrown out of the football league! Absolute can of worms for every team that lost a trophy to them/lost out on Europe or were relegated over those years to sue the c***ts.

Hopefully teams start putting very public bids in for their players!

To the surprise of no one such a soulless club.

Now for the punishment and making it stick. Anything less than demotion to the non league and stripped of every trophy 'won' will be a cop out.

Demotion to division 4

Chelsea was only fined a few quid for similar , so that'll be the height of it. Even a 30 or 40points fine is  irrelevant, one season finishing in mid table , then off  they go again winning titles and attracting big names

Hardly  what you'd call a punishment

PS. Pep knew rightly what  was ahead

Everton got 6 points deducted per breach, how about that, -684 spread over 10 years? :D

Reading the nitty gritty of it today.
It's mental stuff, completely makes a mockery of the entire sport.
Shell companies, hidden payments etc.
I honestly don't see how they can allow them to stay in the league.

One thing it does show is how incredible Klopp and now Arteta are for keeping pace with them.

There is no penalty decided yet, assuming there will be enough of a penalty given to inflict serious enough hurt, in that scenario afaics MC have limited appeal possibilities. And they can't take it to CAS like they did with the UEFA sanctions. The premier league can't decide matters for the football league, MC cannot be banished to the lower leagues on a whim. It would be ridiculous to claim that MC's situation resembles the fraudulent bankrupt Rangers situation seeing as there are no charges of tax fraud and MC is not bankrupt.

If they are handed a points deduction which ensures relegation, that's a tricky one seeing as games have  and will have already been played. And if they are given say a 44 point deduction, is that fair on the teams MC have yet to play because MC will need to scrap to the death for 3 points in very game just to stay in the league?

And anything less than a 40 points penalty means MC can comfortably avoid being relegated, a situation which can easily be interpreted as dodging justice.

40 wouldn't relegate them would it?

The situation is on a different level to what Chelsea did. Punishment should be so severe that no club even try to copycat it in the years ahead.

No doubt will be plenty of PR Spin before the punishment arrives and might even get Trump speaking out afterall City's Khaldoon Al Mubarak is signed up to Trump's Bored of Peace butcher's yard.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

I'd relegate them to League 2 and put a four year transfer selling embargo on them, see how big Haaland or Anderson fancy Swindon Town on a Tuesday evening.

100%

Demotion to league two - minimum.

This would honestly do the English game the world of good. I'd say the working class City fans who supported the team prior to their investment would love it. Gets rid of the bandwagoners.

Well Juventus was put way down 1 year. Problem is, this was dragged out for yrs costing some teams Premier titles.
